Why don’t you all just wait until July for the RNS rather than spreading unfounded rumours and clogging up the forum.

High reserves over 1 billion and
Prime sites to be drilled.
enable to cut costs as a Canadian oil company will not need a London base board.
Facility to increase on its loans

I will still stick to 2024 and maybe into 2rd half of 2025 after the multi platform has been built.

In the meantime we may see an acquisition as some smaller companies must be struggling.
Let’s hope it’s one with lots of tax losses.

While we wait I carry on topping up just don’t tell the wife her inheritance has gone in recently for the second time.

I was expecting an AGM update today / perhaps on 3 July an update RNS subsequent to the Capital Reduction court date on 2 July 24

Wouldn't be surprised to see Serica make an opportunistic bid of around 16p here when new CEO starts on 01/07 as they desperately need to expand beyond North Sea.

i3e's gas is priced at the average of the daily spot price for the Month i.e. for June - calculate the average of the daily spot for June and thats what i3e sell at.

About 25% of the gas is hedged at CAD 2.52 / GJ for Q2 & Q3. In Q4 its a little higher at 30% @ CAD 2.64

I think gas will stay low until after the US elections in November, all the major oil and gas companies are reckoning a recession in 2nd quarter 2025, so I’m wary at where this share price will be by then

I don’t want to be a pessimist but if there’s a dividend cut we may see this drop to the lower 7’s short term.

I do however see much brighter days Oct time so it may be a case of taking the medicine and hunkering down for a few months.

What is a dead cert is that the next results are going to be uncomfortable reading but things should start to pick up October time. I’m hoping Majid will show strength and financial prudence by cutting the dividend at this sickening AECO time.

This is what flexibility and reacting to external events is all about. Surely.

Better times will come chaps. Hold firm, believe in the management and weather the storm.

As I understand it, the unhedged AECO sales are at the monthly index not the daily spot price that some people are worried sick over.

For June, this is just under CAD$ 1.20

For May it was just over CAD$ 1.20

How much gas have they hedged and at what price as AECO has been low for quite some time. I guess they did not get the hedge off at anything above $2.6 but I stand to be corrected.

Just a quick check.
If i3 have hedged the price of gas it follows that the current low Alberta prices are inconsequential.
Correct?
