Just feels like this is an endless struggle to get anywhere near profitability. Just have to forget about the shares for several years and then see if the business is actually viable. When you look at what is actually needed to get to proper profitability, its a big gap from where it is now.

The business of consulting with investment banking, strategic value for shareholders, partnerships, acquisitions, just makes it look as if they know the business isn't viable as it is and perhaps some takeout in a year or so for say 5p is actually the hope.

Yes, not what I was hoping to read. But holding out the hope of some progress with strategic initiatives on feedstock and/or balance sheet before too long.

Yep - they need to develop the supply end, not the demand endStill ok for me as plenty of value

Nice to see a bit of a spike (or tick-up depending on your point of view) without the ramping circus that seems to have accompanied the previous ones. Perhaps a bit less likely to sell off on the TU news now? Depending on how good or ho-hum that news is of course.

The oil trade and future outlook are exciting and interesting at the mo.

Last year I said that 2018 will see a spike, although tempered by shale. We are already at prices that the shale drillers will have started hedging future production but as it stands, there is enough demand, and geopolitical risk to support firm prices. 2018 looks good, further out is less clear. We are also awaiting the potential move up or down, on Trump's Iran decision

With the normal crude cycle, i.e is one without shale, prices would quickly overheat sowing the seeds of an eventual slowdown. Who knows, we might even thank shale, as it keeps a lid on the more stratospheric prices, to a level were a good crude market, is an economic positive.

Given that we had a better start to the year, than previous, albeit with lower output, the rest of the year should continue as it begun.

With that logic, we'll see a better EBITDA that last, which should, without other issues, see us at a higher average range for the year.

As to the sudden flurry... I haven't looked at twitter to see if they are doing the usual pump and dump. I assume some will be speculation, with a mind to sell as soon as the RNS is out. My expectations are that there will be the same positive picture but not counting on any rabbits out of hats.

Results imminent. Judging by last RNS could be neutral, but more likely continuing improvement.i wonder if they'll spring a rabbit out of the hat this time as most have given up on this one.

Yes, all my very best to Chris and his family and I really hope things improve there.

RNS indicated, could be good news soon for the company.... 'I look forward to updating our shareholders further in the coming weeks as we seek to pursue the opportunities to strengthen the Group's footprint, particularly in the US'..........

Very measured RNS and nobody has panicked. Looks like a genuine family problem and we should all respect that. Business still looks good and the risk/reward ratio very good.

Chris did a fantastic job, wish him and his family the very best.

Given the description on the RNS, it's unlikely to be parlance for something else. I guess there isn't much chatter on the subject because with the turnaround almost complete, a change is not looked upon as a bad thing. With a shift to an outward looking strategy, sometimes change is good.

Hi there, If you look at some of the previous posts, we talk about the price action, and reasons why it gets pushed up, then back down again.

Just had first chance to read the update properly.
Another AIM mystery as good news brings the share price down!
From a $1.3M loss to a $0.45M profit and they can't make enough of the stuff due to feedstock constraint! How can this be bad news?
Was something more expected?
