08/10/2018 08:06 | Totally agree. A dividend is fantasy. Really shocked by this | 1savvyinvestor
08/10/2018 07:59 | What on earth is the point of a dividend ??!! I think they're living in cloud cuckoo land and so is anyone else that subscribes or wants more shares. Its a heavily discounted placing because there is no successful business model to fund - nothing to do with the size of the business. | yump
08/10/2018 07:45 | I did warn about a probable placing, but oh no the CEO has loaned HYR money so no need for a placing. What about when the CEO wants his cash back...Oops. | sleveen
08/10/2018 07:41 | Read my post 4551 Investors have suffered huge losses here over the years. Enough said. | truffle
08/10/2018 07:20 | 41% discounted placing goodness me. Proves how woeful the marketplace is these days, no appetite for funding juniors, other companies take note. | the_debt_collector
05/10/2018 17:04 | I don't think it takes a genius to jot a few figures down and come to the conclusion that this is yet another company proving the point that its very difficult to make money out of waste, when it involves new technology. That sort of business review takes a few minutes, but that wouldn't look credible. | yump
05/10/2018 16:51 | Well perhaps they're thinking that if they keep spinning out the timeline, the share price will keep creeping up in anticipation? If anyone is looking for a straw to clutch, I have heard it said that if there's bad news, the advisors insist it is got out promptly, whereas there is a bit more leeway with good news, so long as it doesn't leak. Not an impressive piece of expectation-setting on the communication front though. | 1gw
05/10/2018 15:34 | I will just check Paddypower for the odds on this....Ha Ha! | tonytyke2
05/10/2018 15:27 | So what do we think? Another 3:45pm holding statement? | 1gw
05/10/2018 08:19 | Yep they did say 'expect' in the wording last week, perhaps the 'loose ends' that you raised 1gw, could relate to some external/third party influence/approval required, prior to release of the update...... | tonytyke2
05/10/2018 07:57 | Odd. They couldn't have been clearer ! Next week they said | 1savvyinvestor
05/10/2018 07:57 | It all suggests to me a deal not quite done last Friday, and whatever loose ends were left are taking a bit longer to tie up than they had expected. I hope they didn't find themselves over a barrel because of the end-September date they had published. But it could also be an entirely innocent explanation to do with the logistics of getting the rns approved and issued. | 1gw
05/10/2018 07:29 | Taking the Michael seems to apply here. | corrientes
04/10/2018 08:15 | Hmmm. Curious. Friday not normally best day for an update but doesn't seem to be today | 1savvyinvestor
04/10/2018 08:09 | What to think then, now that they've missed the 7am Thursday slot so it's looking like it will be a Friday for the announcement, a whole week after the board is supposed to have finished (and presumably signed off any major actions arising from) the review? Were there last minute details to iron out before they make the announcement? Are the actions just not that significant and so they're spending time trying to polish the presentation? If the result of the review was thought to be reasonably market sensitive then surely they should have got the announcement out sooner to avoid the risk of it leaking? Are they still excited about what lies ahead for the Company and its shareholders? | 1gw
04/10/2018 08:05 | Talk about dragging it out ! | corrientes
28/9/2018 16:36 | agreed. Slipping RNS announcements late on a Friday seldom good. Will be interesting to see whether people buy this rumour. I really can't guess what will come but of course am hopeful!! | 1savvyinvestor
28/9/2018 16:18 | Well to nit pick, their own timeline was to get the announcement out by the end of the month "The business review is on track and subject to Board approval is expected to be announced by the end of September" But to be honest, I'm not going to hold a few days' delay against them, and I think it is perhaps slightly encouraging that they're delaying it until next week rather than slip it out on a Friday. | 1gw
28/9/2018 16:11 | Very amusing rns. Just shows they kept to their own timeline . Is it a rise to garner excitement? Could we get a game changing announcement next week or week after ? | 1savvyinvestor
28/9/2018 16:10 | And in fact, that's me in for some more, so help me! I can't believe that they would say "We are excited about what lies ahead for the Company and its shareholders" in the context of the business review as recently as 10th September if they were planning something that would likely hit the share price hard, such as a heavily discounted placing or rights issue. | 1gw
28/9/2018 15:54 | The question is, will the circus return now that we have a probably market-moving announcement confirmed as coming up in the next few days? | 1gw
28/9/2018 15:53 | Something to look forward to next week then. | 1gw
28/9/2018 09:17 | Well they do have form in that department. Finals were timed at 12:05pm on 31st May. | 1gw
28/9/2018 07:34 | Doesn't have to be at 7.00 | 1savvyinvestor |
