On a normalized basis it is supposed to be EBITDA positive. c.a 0.65m. They were struck by oil price volatility. But it looks like Puralube are exiting the market. Puralube is a major competitor with a similarly patented re-refining technology and a huge refinery already built up in Germany. Less players could improve margins if Hydrodec does manage to integrate the business well with OSS.

Nonsense!.....we have just paid £2.4 million for a business that came in at a loss of nearly minus £1 million ????????Unless oil gets back over to $100 and fast, the funeral march continues to play in the background and is getting louder by the month!£2.4 million?????????It's a disaster!

Todays deal looks a decent strategic move following on from the OSS acquisition.
HYR have taken out a rival at what looks a reasonable price, and will now benefit from additional revenue for their waste oil collection business, plus cost synergies.

If you are an educated person and have the basic understanding of how to read the results than you will see we need more than a miracle just to hold onto 7p.However if you love blue skies, pie in the sky and have a rather unhealthy allergy to the truth, you should be ok.That's until you get to Jupiter?

The MMs are trying to fool us. At the close of play it was 7.07p to buy and 7.00p to sell, so they were all appearing as sells. (advertised spread 7.0 - 7.25p)

Extremely thorough update, which concurs with their statement that their corporate governance standards target is that of a ftse350 company.
All aspects of each project covered in detail and, to me, remains a very interesting investment.

Results due Monday and presumably we will get updates on the various business areas including how they are going with the new plant installation in Canton. Hopefully this will see the share price finally start to rise again.

Article from lubesandgreases

hxxp://www.lubesngreases.com/lubereport/15_8/rerefining/-8340-1.html

Mentions delivery of the two reactors, within the next two weeks.

Further info on what the UK site may look like. I think this was up a little while ago, but only saw it yesterday.

Maybe so, capricious, but less than before. Politicians agreeing on boundary renegotiation are like Turkeys voting for Christmas.

Luminoso - Lol, unfortunately with the current boundaries that they quite brazenly, and all too like the untrustworthy LB, reneged on the agreed renegotiation, they'll still end up with a goodly number of useless MPs.

And obviously it's to early to say, but as predicted, the price action has exactly followed a well worn pattern.

Quilarvium - I'm not sure where you get "they don't feel positive", I think you're superimposing your concerns on something that doesn't exist.

I'm not going to come up with a counter share price prediction, but we've been here before, and recent price action is very familiar MM territory.

I think that's a fair assessment on the face of it.Success for the share price in 2015 isn't a given. The variable is whether it's all priced in now or whether developments will prop up sentiment - routes to expansion open up etc.,however I think Canton probably holdssome pent up "good news". The whole sector is being marked down though in fairness to HYR. If it does drop to those lower levels ( and I'm not sure it will ) I'd be topping up again.

They don't feel to positive this year about performance IMO.It's as if they know that they will be having a bad year in advance.May see 5p before the dust settles here.

sp has broken 7p a number of times in the recent past, and then the mm used it to bounce the share up a little, then the cycle starts again. Until otherwise, this is just the mm using the limbo from hearing about the further milestones, to make their market.

I'm out of this now.I think there us something hydro are not telling us!The chart looks negative too, if she breaks 7p next resistance at 5.8p following the recent downward spiral.Looks like a penny share again IMO.

Hydrodec is consolidating its bases after a tough year recovering from the Canton fire. I don't expect much to happen before mid 2015 but I think 2016 could be an eceptional year with rising oil prices giving the whole sector more confidence, and HYR starting to motor on sales. For the moment, nothing to worry about, it's well in hand. DYOR and GLA.
