28/6/2014 20:57 | Thanks Cap, interesting news and looks like now the process eqipt is in a modular form it will be easy to replicate allowing them to either expand their operations quickly and efficiently in other markets or sell on the processing units under license to existing oil reclamation companies particularly if the motor oil refining trains can be produced in a similar format. AGM on Monday so may get further information re progress of company YTD. Recent strong director buys look very positive. | edale

19/6/2014 15:29 | IC had a nice little article today:- Hydrodec 's (HYR) board of directors have shored up confidence in the oil recycling group by snapping up nearly £500,000 worth of shares in aggregate, following recent share price weakness. All six directors bought their shares at 11p, though news of the dealings has since sent Hydrodec's share price back up to 12.7p. Majority shareholder and director Andrew Black, co-founder of Betfair (BET), acquired 1.9m shares to take his holding to 178m shares or 24 per cent of the company. Lord Colin Moynihan - Hydrodec's chairman and a former energy minister - spent nearly £100,000, adding 909,090 shares to his account. The purchases came hot on the heels of two positive announcements from Hydrodec. First, the company received a further interim payment of $3.5m (£2m) from its insurance company, adding to the initial $2m received as compensation for the explosion at the Canton re-refinery plant in Ohio. The plant should be back up and running in the fourth quarter. Second, Hydrodec has filed a patent for its lubricant oil re-refining technology - a major step in its plans to expand into the much larger lubricant oil market. Hydrodec has massive growth potential. While it will take some time for progress to feed through to the bottom line, we think investors should follow the directors' lead. Speculative buy. | paleje
16/6/2014 15:40 | Someone is keen. Large buy above the offer price ! | the shuffle man

10/6/2014 14:55 | I think, apart from the usual support shown by the board, to me this means there will be some likely progress on rebuild etc, in the not too distant future. If I were in charge of timing of this coordinated action, I'd do it when I was confident (but not insider info as such) that there is a chance that momentum could be built with other news. | capricious
10/6/2014 13:29 | Agree Cap though I'd love it a bit more if the share price was at 20p. Todays share price is cheap, really cheap. | dirty75
10/6/2014 11:51 | That's what I love about Hydrodec, the people, they are a very committed bunch. And as shown by the recent fundraising, they don't forget about the long term followers and holders. | capricious
10/6/2014 10:44 | Not sure I've ever seen every BOD member buy directly into the market all at the same time of any other PLC before. That's pretty exceptional. Huge confidence. Having a few more, before PR of this news kicks in. | dirty75
10/6/2014 09:11 | Very reassuring to see the Directors, en masse, prepared to spend £480k. | mortimer7
10/6/2014 08:03 | This should banish any lingering doubts in the market about the Insurance pay out, while we are still waiting for a figure. | luminoso
10/6/2014 07:29 | Director confidence, not token gestures, explains the big volume or most of it. Wonder who the seller was. | paleje
09/6/2014 20:29 | And yet the mm keep the share price as is | capricious
09/6/2014 16:59 | Big volume. one trade of 5.8m shares changing hands at 11p. | alanrussell
09/6/2014 11:30 | Hydrodec Group (HYR) - Lubricant oils provisional patent application Listen here | sammy_smith
06/6/2014 11:27 | Absolutely, Capricious. Its the reason I have invested at these low levels of share price and will look to add when I have the cash. | luminoso
06/6/2014 10:08 | I don't think I can underestimate the longer term importance that this patent provides. As yet there isn't much interest around the news, but personally I'm extremely pleased. Potential partners now have a clear unique process, for a huge market. | capricious
06/6/2014 08:06 | RNS - pretty interesting, so their tech works for Lube oil. How large is the lube oil market? There has to be a big seller out there, this price decline is since March is silly, no debt in the co, plenty of activity, new tech applied, and the insurance claim is being progressed. A buying opportunity, topping up. | dirty75
02/6/2014 14:11 | Thanks for the replies. | luminoso
02/6/2014 13:41 | From the updates so far, I'm guessing around $7-8 million | capricious
02/6/2014 13:30 | It's a bit difficult to assess this as we don't know the cost of rebuilding, loss of profits and other consequential losses. | alanrussell
02/6/2014 13:14 | Anyone know how much we are expecting the Insurance payment to be, in total ? | luminoso |
