18/3/2014 10:08 | Excellent, keeps them at the edge of their clean tech, important as old patents expire. Possible news sometime in the future concerning patents in industrial oils. | ![]() capricious

03/3/2014 12:58 | I think its just the Ukraine situation. people sell their recent winners thinking they can buy them back cheaper when it blows over. Or the MMs use the crisis to prise shares out of weak hands. Take your pick. | ![]() luminoso
03/3/2014 11:20 | Well that's a steep drop, something must be coming through that hasn't appeared on the transaction front. Or as the MM's do, allow the share price to move freely, e.g after the IC report and create a lot of activity. Can't think it's just the Ukraine situation. | ![]() capricious

26/2/2014 08:34 | Another positive RNS, indicating the Insurance claim for business interruption/damage is in hand & a sensible decision to potentially delay publication of accounts if necessary rather than risk having to restate when the claim is finalised. I do like the way this company is run - RNS always incisive & straight to the point for shareholders. | ![]() mortimer7

25/2/2014 11:54 | Judging as to how quiet this Thread is ,, I would suspect that they go higher .. no selling pressure .. and one large buyer | 3dwd
25/2/2014 08:49 | HYR : High volume transactions so far today 400k+. Current share price 14.13p. +3.7% Close to 52 week high. Remember the OSS acquisition added value & HYR only paid £4.5mill for the assets. | ![]() mortimer7
18/2/2014 17:02 | Post results .. I hope we will be able to read a sensible piece of research. .. potential investors need to understand the company .. and I believe niw is the time to take the company forward with some good quality coverage .. | 3dwd

18/2/2014 15:56 | I think we could hit highs again soon but please remember the co has just issued a LOT of new shares. It had a market cap of under £50m at around 10p before the very popular open offers, it is now capitalised at around £100m. I don't want to rain on the parade, but if this develops into froth, it could then take a lot of time to "grow into" the valuation, or of course, the price could come in for a fall. Sorry to state the obvious but sometimes I fear that there is a lot of focus on the share price, when it's the value/market cap that matters. The quoted value of the company has recently doubled, mainly as a result of the issue of new shares. Still, the news notwithstanding the accident is unremittingly good, and there is only 5 weeks until results. Even a pre-forma turnover and EBITDA would help - anyone fancy taking a punt? It sure is convoluted given the acquisition, and now the shut down! | ![]() themariner
18/2/2014 15:46 | I think we could see 15p .. I think Essar is messy .. going bust ..noooo .. I suspect the mngt of HYR are on top of the Essar situation .. although its important .. there are other higher quallity companies out there that can do a similar deal .. | 3dwd
18/2/2014 15:22 | By the way, I'd have never thought it this early, and glad to be wrong, but we are indeed near the highs again. | ![]() capricious
18/2/2014 15:20 | Do you mean ESSR? or HYR. Probably the latter, yes been a holder for a long time, before the recession. I'm indifferent about all things investment, apart from Hydrodec. The idea is brilliant, the product is brilliant, but most of all over the years, the people who work and are attracted to work for Hydrodec, are just as brilliant. So when the fire happened, I was worried for about a day, then the team responded in the way they have in the past, and concerns went pretty quickly. As to ESSR, I didn't mean that this was the sole reason for the rise, but there have been some troubles over at ESSR, and any doubt that this would hold up Hydrodec's UK plans, isn't good. If you read the ESSR thread you get a hard core constantly saying it's going bust, but it's a revenue flow monster, stuck with a heavy debt burden. The recent news that the family want to take the company on the cheap at the shareholders expense, I can now see a crafty plan, that at least in my eyes, assuages my concerns. | ![]() capricious
18/2/2014 13:57 | That certainly helps .. I dont believe thats the reason .. there are many reasons as to why they could be alot higher ... Sticking with them .. I assume u r long .. | 3dwd
18/2/2014 13:20 | I suspect the move by the Ruia family to pick up the rest of ESSR for a song, is helping. | ![]() capricious
18/2/2014 13:18 | 13.25 bid ... vol 3.7 million | 3dwd
18/2/2014 12:30 | Very pleasant surprise, especially as nothing has changed, but then we know the company, new entrants don't until a well regarded article gives you a mention. Often there is a drop back, but this rise gives the share price momentum, hopefully until operations resume. | ![]() capricious
