24/8/2016 18:46 | No sympathy from me. They sold us short IMO, still the cash should be arriving in the next few days which will be some consolation. | dozey3
09/8/2016 18:52 | From what I could see I think they are pretty much all out of a job. | topvest
09/8/2016 13:30 | and what is the directors acceptance package? | luckymouse
08/8/2016 17:40 | A very high acceptance rate in the end, so all over bar the court scheme. Cash end of August. | topvest
08/8/2016 08:19 | Meeting today. Lets see what happens. | topvest
07/8/2016 21:59 | scober, you are living in cloud coockoo land! | waggle
03/8/2016 10:47 | And I forgot to mention a dividend of 3.8p growing at 10% pa for 10y yields a total payout of 77p .............. so I want 390p+ for my shares Guess what? I've voted against the resolutions I want to be adequately compensated for the loss of likely future growth; growth stocks are becoming a rarity. | schober
03/8/2016 08:33 | I'm with nominees and am declining to vote, but certainly have lost confidence in the directors acting in shareholders' interests. | dozey3
02/8/2016 22:35 | just had a look at forecasts on digitalllook eps of 13p and 17p for 2016 and 2017 (2015 10.3p) divi of 4.6p and 5.6p (2015 3.8p) and from investorease eps in 1991 was 1p and in 2015 9.5p; a compound growth rate of 10% divi in 2003 was 1p and in 2016 is 3.8p ; a growth rate of 11% If this rate of progress continues for the next 10 years you can multiply those 2015 figures by 2.6x If hyd is fairly valued at 190 p then in 10 years, 500p would be a fair valuation; so hanover needs to offer me at least 350p for my shares | schober
02/8/2016 20:43 | should be in the 210-240 range - both technically and eps fwds question is - how do you find out what the dirs acceptance package will be - if they had a heavy weighting of shares their interests would be aligned with shareholders - if a low ownership of shares then they are susceptible to a nod n wink generous package. | luckymouse
02/8/2016 19:32 | Yup; the price does not reflect the potential US growth over the next 10 years! Hyd have been building up a us presence over the last 10 or more years which looks to be on the cusp of taking off. This will help to get them away from the uk AMP spending cycle. Add in that after the us elections, whoever wins, there is likely to be a big fiscal expansion and "helicopter money". THis will likely go on infrastructure projects, much to hydros benefit hxxp://www.infrastru | schober
02/8/2016 16:03 | Interesting that someone bought a small volume at 195p today. I had a voicecom the other day from Hanover reminding me about the offer and accepting it which would suggest that they need all votes to get this over the line. There has to be some doubt as to whether 194p is enough to get 75% acceptance here, given that they only have c43% in the bag and the general feel amongst shareholders was that this was a rather low ball bid. Will they have to offer a bit more I wonder? Next week's meeting will be interesting. Any thoughts? | topvest
29/7/2016 21:44 | Thanks Dave, I didn't know that. Can you quote chapter and verse? Meanwhile I'll have a search. I'm having to leave detailed notes so the folks clearing up my mess can make sense of it all. | dozey3
29/7/2016 13:46 | Dozey3 -if you reinvest in anothter AIM share the 2 year period for IHT exemption carries over. | davebowler
16/7/2016 13:35 | I've decided to accept the scheme. Surprisingly most of the Board seem to be going on the deal going through with significant cost saving plans. Be interesting to see the level of acceptances. | topvest
01/7/2016 20:31 | You can't spend it when your dead...enjoy! | topvest
01/7/2016 19:07 | Yes, we sure have. And there goes a fair slug of my inheritance tax planning. | dozey3
20/6/2016 09:58 | Weve been done lol | luckymouse
20/6/2016 08:55 | The irrevocables plus Hanover are actually 55% of the shares. Every institutional and sizeable shareholder has provided irrevocable undertakings. This deal looks done to me. | mccawber
18/6/2016 14:28 | you know what - ive just checked the technicals - its not even the height of the IHS - on both technicals and forwards its under - wonder if dirs have been bought. | luckymouse
18/6/2016 11:36 | Well if directors don't have many shares - they may have accepted a slight low ball in return for a generous post deal package. Usually most of them leave afterwards, so possibly may be thinking neds & retirement pot. | luckymouse
18/6/2016 10:44 | Bid is only c£26m after deducting £2m of net cash. Another thing to think about. Definitely on the low side. Think I may actually reject the offer. | topvest |
