Posted at 29/7/2024 14:48 by zeppo Skinny, as you are aware I sold completely out of five Hydrogen companies disappointed by lack of real interest after Cop26, 2021.Share prices were still affected by Covid and I moved into good dividend payers, many of them quarterly payers. Although I came out of Hydrogen at a loss I was buying the income stocks at lower, post Covid prices. My only non-dividend share now is AUK. AUK may take a while to move out of its penny share status. I believe this is a classic for taking out your stake after the (currently less than 2p) price doubles and holding your gained shares for the ride. Internet searches show that the Smart Buildings Market is set to be huge. RNS on 17th. Philip J Milton & Co appear to have enough confidence to raise their stake: From 6.5% to 7.02% Currently very few transactions. But as AUK becomes better known the share price will take off. |
Posted at 07/9/2021 15:51 by zeppo tenapenThank you for the above posts. I hope to invest in HyCap. But where do I get the cash from? I went for the CORD IPO, a divi payer, undersubscribed but still ahead in its early stages. I also went for HGEN, again undersubscribed: but making ground whilst we wait for announcements. A Brewdog IPO may soon be announced. My grandson suggested that I take a stake in Brewdog, a private company. If that entitles me to subscription shares: where do I get the cash? Only by adjusting my portfolio: selling to buy: but trying to keep a good balance. Its all fascinating stuff. Hydrogen is the future!!! Bamfords are brilliant so I will do my best to take part in this forthcoming fund. |

Posted at 05/2/2020 18:36 by zeppo ITM. AFC, CWR, and PHE in the UK. Ballard and others abroad.Do your own research. PHE urgently needs planning permission for their first commercial unit. If they get it in March then great? They can create hydrogen from waste plastic. They need Planning Permission by the end of ( I believe) March to qualify for a £1Million+ grant. Shell are moving into hydrogen. If their dividend is halved because of falling oil prices, they have the power to be a big player in hydrogen and recover their global strength IMHO . |
Posted at 03/8/2016 09:47 by schober And I forgot to mention a dividend of 3.8p growing at 10% pa for 10y yields a total payout of 77p .............. so I want 390p+ for my sharesGuess what? I've voted against the resolutions I want to be adequately compensated for the loss of likely future growth; growth stocks are becoming a rarity. |
Posted at 02/8/2016 21:35 by schober just had a look at forecasts on digitalllookeps of 13p and 17p for 2016 and 2017 (2015 10.3p) divi of 4.6p and 5.6p (2015 3.8p) and from investorease eps in 1991 was 1p and in 2015 9.5p; a compound growth rate of 10% divi in 2003 was 1p and in 2016 is 3.8p ; a growth rate of 11% If this rate of progress continues for the next 10 years you can multiply those 2015 figures by 2.6x If hyd is fairly valued at 190 p then in 10 years, 500p would be a fair valuation; so hanover needs to offer me at least 350p for my shares |
Posted at 02/8/2016 18:32 by schober Yup; the price does not reflect the potential US growth over the next 10 years! Hyd have been building up a us presence over the last 10 or more years which looks to be on the cusp of taking off. This will help to get them away from the uk AMP spending cycle. Add in that after the us elections, whoever wins, there is likely to be a big fiscal expansion and "helicopter money". THis will likely go on infrastructure projects, much to hydros benefithxxp://www.infrastru |
Posted at 31/3/2016 17:29 by topvest I've bought a few of these on weakness. The dividend signal was very bullish in my view. Happy to hold long term. |

Posted at 29/2/2016 18:53 by dozey3 Today HYD announced it is acquiring Hydro-Logic, which provides consultancy services and measuring instrumentation and techniques to the water industry. Some of the brains are staying with the business too.Looks like a good fit to me since the work of Hydro-Logic could provide a foot in the door opportunity for the supply of HYD kit, but we all know how such takeovers can go wrong. Anyway, perhaps explains the recent share price increase, and I will be hanging on for the time being. |
