The drug-development group Venn Life Sciences says its earnings have improved despite a fall in revenue. The Irish company, which is listed on the junior markets in Dublin and London, has refocused its strategy in the past year.

In a trading update, Venn said revenue fell from €18.2 million to €17.8 million but earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were up from 2016’s €400,000; it didn’t provide a specific figure. “Given the headwind from project deferrals announced at the half year, the board believes that this outcome reflects solid progress in the business,” the company said in a statement.

No idea why on positive days oxygen is given to the halfwits. Almost as if the responders are in bed with them?

Go on then, you seem to want to spend time on this thread, so go and have a look and give us the link, you have already changed the figure from £15m to £12m perhaps you need to check things yourself before making such statements. Just saying....

Actually Venn’s revenue was more like £12mln before ORPH reversed in.

Easy to find if you look.

Venn get contracts each year, most are not RNSed, I would like to see you provide some links to the £15m turnover including what profit (loss) was made on that revenue.

First time I remember Venn getting anything while within HVO. Pretty sure their turnover used to be around £15mln.

I see the sheep are selling on the previous high, reinforcing the self-fulfilling charts.

Nice message when a 3.2m euro contract is not deemed worthy of a full RNS.

All changed and they have moved the spread to where it should be, however as I said it isn't as lop-sided as it seems on the trade data.

Strangely, I am getting quotes to buy at 16p which is the quoted bid, how many of the trades at 16p are actually buys??

A very nice €3.2M contract win starting this month.Trading update coming up next week too. Let's see if we get an "ahead of expectations" statement when it arrives on the 26th, together with analysts upgrades too.

If we could get this up to 50p we'll probably be best buds😝㈶1;

I still think Hvivo is intrinsically undervalued considering the space its in.
£350 million valuation is not absurd imho but 2023 probably needs to be a bumper year

I wasn't referring to Hvivo - it was a general point.
I said 'a business' not 'this business'.

This isn't a football match is it ?

Try not to put anyone in the 'opponents' camp before you reach a conclusion - it will distort your views completely.

Pro trader..very few original investors made money on Amryt. It was basically a wash!
Most of the market cap was 2 acquisitions Aegerion+debt and Chiasma.
And FYI the 3 companies acquired to create the original Amryt, 2 never produced at thing and the 3rd had a lotion (episalvan/Filsuvez)for partial thickness wounds which they spent a fortune on barely got approval the EMA and failed FDA approval for Epidermolysis Bullosa.

It's very bad lazy journalism!
