that 20 odd million in the bank with rates where they are should be at least another million or so on top

Digger, it is speculation re accumulation but yesterday there was a massive sell side and flat price. With FTSE opening weak we got a mark down this morning, but full ask being paid now. With a presentation next week we could get a strong close this afternoon.

I know we are told that for every seller there is a buyer but am scratching my head here. If the mm's square their books each day and don't hold on their books and we have had constant sells for months, where have those many millions of shares ended up? Surely the buys have to show up eventually. We were told it was retailers selling which caused the drop although CF is to blame for a lot of it.
I'm hoping the accumulation theory is kosher but knowing my luck lately there is something else going on and it isn't pretty.

JJ, as I understand it, it is irrelevant what the early reporting levels are if they are still accumulating. The support is at this price level, with millions sold recently we are holding well. Each to their own in how they interpret the markets, chart and price action looks good to me.

mark,

JudgeJudi,
Much like there has been no TR1 from your phantom seller...

They don’t need to TR1 until they complete their buying. I understand that if you are still actively buying you do not need to notify the market, even if you pass the various thresholds. Above 30% and you have to make an offer.

Not suggesting this buyer has even got to 5% yet, but there is depth of support in ORPH I have not observed for years.

trout,
Is your phantom buyer of months and months and months still loading up?
Why no TR1?

Beggars belief that after 18 mths of
constant selling that someone is still unloading.

Maybe MM were filling up their tanks, I bought some this afternoon due to the resilience. Intriguing days trading. In the past that volume of sells would have dropped us 1p, so they have gone somewhere into happy hands...

So who wants lots of shares? Large selling today (at a price that is higher than recent days) and the price didn't budge.

Update on Reabold Friel's new venture

hxxps://www.energyvoice.com/oilandgas/north-sea/454609/no-reabold-without-us-say-company-bosses-ahead-of-crucial-shareholder-vote/

I particularly like this little nugget from our Mr.Friel ...

In a statement given to Energy Voice, Mr Friel explained that he, and a “number of other shareholders”, have become “very frustrated” by Reabold’s performance in recent time.

He said: “I hold a reasonable investment in Reabold, where I am nursing a substantial loss. I am fully aware that the markets are currently difficult with most stocks down in 2022. Despite this, I have joined this Requisition because I feel quite strongly that Reabold should have been able to perform vastly better than many of its peers in the oil & gas sector.

U couldn't make it up.Pot calling the kettle black me doth think 😀

Perhaps I'll update the Reabold BOD on his shenanigans here. 🤔

Mark some of the 'numpties' as you calls them were spot on here and maybe if you hadn't filtered them you might have learnt something and not have lost as much.

It's a new canvass now,the Irish Mafia have moved on and we seem to have good solid leadership.
It's just so regrettable that Open Orphan got its tentacles into Hvivo just before the Pandemic. The only remaining division of OO is Venn Life Sciences and I'd imagine that will be culled in the not to distant future.
