Well I wonder if Trevor and the management team have engaged with the likes of GSK regarding the FLU-v vaccine seeing that GSK have now abandoned their own versions of a universal flu vaccine after phase 1 failure. The trouble is that the longer that Imutex/HVO sit on the Flu-v vaccine, the potential for competitors to advance their own universal vaccines. Let's hope that HVO/Imutex have already started negotiations on phase 3 trials.....

I see that within the article a nice little cryptic choice of words towards the end of this extract......"In its announcement, GSK said the decision to cut the two programs were made following an analysis of available research results, including interim data from an ongoing Phase I study of the flu vaccine. GSK said it remains committed to further research in flu including pursuing other approaches.".
Make your own minds up as to what that last bit means?

not a brilliant update yesterday.....sort of reads......we're jogging along and we the management team are enjoying our large salaries and free shares, but as a BOD we lack the confidence to stick our hands in our pockets and buy shares as it's too risky; we'd prefer that the shareholders bare all the risks, as we may be able to milk them for more cash next year....Aimho adyor!!!

Yes, but they've already had a good chunk of that money in. Contract liabilities are ~£6m which is income invoiced and paid but not recognised as the work has not been completed (in effect payments up front). 30% margin on the remaining £15m gives £3m to cover costs for the remainder of the year

I see yes, but they have already signed £21m not included in the interims, i believe

Disco, it does (at 31st Dec) .....but then read the notes on going concern (Pg6) which state £8.3m at end of March. Para 3 & 4 are indicating the risk in Q4 (Oct-Dec). If they win new contracts it will be ok but generally they'd need to signing those in the next 3 mths

The cash may see them through to profits, but with over 75% of shares with II's it shouldn't be a problem raising cash.
