Heavily ramped based on the hope the last news was like it was.Then heavily sold into the RNS which prevented it from sustaining any rise.Here now gone, interest has dropped off and very few commenters on Twitter and message boards resulting in very little volume.Thus until the next rinse and repeat cycle.

I was thinking same J H. Raised price to 40p to bring buyers in on the news.
Hope overhang is nearly cleared.
This has fallen long way from £1.

Was surprised yesterday that price fell back from 40p.
Thought it might have risen to 50p-60p but there was a large Sell? after closing.
More buys than sells today and it falls back again.
If anyone can shed light on it please tell us.

Mike, no worries. That was the same reason I stopped posting here.... and if by magic apple appears.
The share price naturally spiked yesterday due to the low number of shares in free float and traders looking for their usual 5%. The company with their partners are in late stage development of a blockbuster drug that is 83% effective across many strains of Flu unlike current vaccines that have to be modified every year. Not only that it does not have to be re administered every year. That is not a ramp but information released by the company.
Any P3 trial is likely to replicate the P11b trial de risking it significantly. Daily share price movement is not relevant imo if you believe HVIVO and SEEK will see this through to a commercial success. Of course a partner experienced in would be perfect even though we will gave to give away a good percentage.

The company generates revenue and has other compounds in development that are looking promising.
To all LTH's have a great weekend and maybe yesterday's news was the data any prospective partner was waiting for.

Normally post on LSE but just browsing recent chat. Yesterday's news was excellent but to be honest it was expected. What the market was hoping for was an announcement of a partnership deal.
Another point, Woodford has already clarified that his strategy with his recent investments is to hold longer term targeting companies with huge growth potential. That interview was a few months ago in the Mail (This is Money)
It must be frustrating for the guys that watch the trade by trade share price movements and seem to align their knowledge to the share price direction.

We already knew that the vaccine was a world beater, the news was independent confirmation of this fact. And they are already having discussions with pharmaceuticals on how to progress the vaccine to the market.

Share must be off investors radar.
Perhaps holders are holding @ a loss and don't want to top up.
Disappointing price is back to close on Wed.
Let's hope for press a good write up over the weekend.
Think it's stuck @ 32p-33p for now.

Seems I was right.
Anyone buying yesterday morning was almost immediately in a losing position. Now volume has dried up and marketmakers will take advantage again, walking it down as punters with T trades start to close out.

Still no directors buying after this 'great news' ?

A potential blockbuster vaccine and more for £27mill. Great results will attract many bigger pharmas . Be patient and wait for HV to do a big deal in the coming months..

Well looking at the price action from last year, news was released on 18th June but the share price didn't peak at circa 100p til early July, so lets see what happens here once short-term traders exit and news circulates via press reports etc. Early days yet.

True. HVO hasn't done much for Woodford's investing reputation.
Sure hope share can make a comeback from here.
