23/3/2017 11:02 | I'd be happy with an 80p intraday jump. | sheep_herder
23/3/2017 10:59 | You would only suspend for reentry / turning into a producer at a later date. The conclusion has to be that Halifax has discovered Hydrocarbons :) If they state they believe it's connected to Lancaster what are peoples price thoughts? I'm going with 80p initially | ngms27
23/3/2017 10:55 | Why the heck our gov has to do freebies for the likes of Shell, Esso and BP. Tight wads! Right...out | rayrac
23/3/2017 10:53 | It's reported on lse that Halifax well was is " SUSPENDED not Plugged and Abandoned, may be just nomenclature they use but either way it's finished and by the looks of our ship spotters anchors are being pulled ! So today , tomorrow or Monday , ( I'm harping on I apologise ) My emoji is this ⚓️ϥ | gibso6767
23/3/2017 10:51 | geordy2 that's a good link once you have mastered it , you can obtain the prev relinquish reports via the map | laserdisc
23/3/2017 10:51 | Right, I'm off out now, so give me a buzz if anything should happen? Just joking...but I am off out visiting...ever heard of West Mersea? That's where I'll be😩 | rayrac
23/3/2017 10:50 | Just a thought I think today would not have been a very appropriate day to announce the Halifax well results, if successful. The reason is today they announced the 29th round of Oil Licences. Given we sneaked in and got this asset ahead of those licences it would look very off to announce the discovery of billions of dollars of oil on the day others only heard if they were successful. | davidblack
23/3/2017 10:47 | cinques, see what you mean about Shell.... a bit OT, but wonder what Exxon have spotted SW of the Hebrides (block 132 area)... | thegreatgeraldo
23/3/2017 10:45 | This is an interactive map | geordy2
23/3/2017 10:35 | Very frustrating place to be right now gibso. I'm not so keen to watch the sp, it's screwing the nuts off us all I think.👉 Btw, I like 'smileys' as you can see. More expressive than words I feel😄 | rayrac
23/3/2017 10:29 | Rayrac heck yes , I used to work for one of the Contractors involved and nobody can find anything at all. But via text to another investors they noted that all recent funding has done no damage to the shareprice over time . The beauty also that if all the newbies buying into WOS drill dusters then we become more valuable. The beauty also that if all the newbies buying into WOS drill gushers then the infrastructure in place will reduce costs capex opex etc | gibso6767
23/3/2017 10:27 | Shirley news tomorrow or Monday, Shirley. BH | bloodhound
23/3/2017 10:23 | Can somebody release the brakes Steam building up now gonna pop today :) | upwego
23/3/2017 10:09 | I think the news of Shell acquiring a lot of blocks adjacent to some of Hurricane's blocks is significant but the market doesn't appear bothered. | cinques
23/3/2017 10:06 | Just a guess then, gibso?👉 | rayrac
23/3/2017 09:41 | Cinques , yes will they be ringing our doorbell . Moonlanding on lse has echoed my view that IIs have a sniff of both operations and funding that may happen sooner rather than later ( still think assets sales / cherry picking will happen , and £1 by Easter fingers crossed ) | gibso6767
23/3/2017 09:35 | It's becoming a popular neighbourhood. | cinques
23/3/2017 09:21 | I'd say last years Seismic adjacent to our areas and nearby is linked to the Governments £20,000,000 Seismic Ooerations in most recent O&G Block Auctions , unable to get Link but Johandesilva on iii has the link , worth a read . So is it all WOS that's an oil glut and is our succcess easily repeated by those that buy nearby ! Trailblazer springs to mind , so would you risk going down the same route as HUR or reduce your risk and buy( into or full in some form)or what you see is what you get with a significant start into production . I've always thought this multi prong approach is a precursor to a sale of these particular assets | gibso6767
23/3/2017 08:43 | yes, but I prefer the quiet confidence of HUR, rather than the showmanship of the other. As soon as their flow of trivia stops they all panic. | wessexmario
23/3/2017 08:34 | Going to be an even longer one...I'll be bound! Could have been in SOU, they tell ee everything! | rayrac
23/3/2017 07:07 | misread that post, sorry was a long day | jimarilo
22/3/2017 23:32 | agnabeya - 16640 If you think this board has too much froth, you have clearly not been exposed to the likes of the screaming lunatic asylum that is LSE and other similar establishments, hence the rock comment. Compared to them, this board is like a bunch of Trappist monks. HUR has been trading up and down daily in a range of 50p-56p for months now so to predict it might go down is like saying I might still be breathing tomorrow. If you are that sensitive about people disagreeing with your opinion, be it right or wrong, then maybe BB's aren't for you. As for oil fever, people are getting a little excited as we get closer to the Halifax result and the Lancaster CPR and understandably so in respect of the latter as we know that there will be a significant upgrade so, isn't that something to be eagerly anticipated...? HOWEVER, I have lost plenty enough money in companies that hit dusters to be cautious but with maybe a couple of exceptions, I think everyone on this board is well aware of the risks so, thank you very much but I don't think we need you to pontificate to us on this subject just because we may not share your opinion. Finally, whilst I have a rant on, I get a little bit fed up with people who go chicken and fret about dilution as we get to the business end of what has so far been a successful drilling campaign. Oil exploration/producti The fact is that as others have said, we have 2 very supportive partners who have shelled out 100m plus so far and that was with a much lower price so why would they suddenly bottle it at $50 a barrel...?!!! That said, I was involved in XEL for a while (luckily at the right time) so I am only too well aware of what can happen even if we are successful however HUR and XEL are total polar opposites in pretty much every respect in terms of how they were run and forward planning So, if you have gone stale bull then fine, sell up if you don't believe, the rest of us who do will continue to hold and await the outcome.... | control1
22/3/2017 23:16 | Tomorrow is 23rd March. To my mind, 23rd March is very nearly "At the end of Q1 2017" rather than HUR's stated "Towards the end of Q1 2017" - getting silly now - update RNS tomorrow morning please HUR. | puzzler2
22/3/2017 22:46 | There are no further wells to be drilled on Halifax under this contract! Read things in a proper manner ffs! | rayrac |
