10/5/2023 12:50 | H&L are saying i need to confirm if i want cash or a loan note i could tell them if a knew what a loan note was Dave | ![]() dave999dave999
10/5/2023 09:36 | Here you go. Ophorst added another 3m as retail is selling their shares cheap. | ![]() marmar80
10/5/2023 08:50 | After court decision. No exact date given yet but in June. | ![]() marmar80
10/5/2023 08:15 | I've sold half on the voting day but bought back a few days later. Took me a while and had to pay the asking price to win with the funds. Now I think not many retail holders left who still want to sell. Imo price up to 8p is attractive for funds. | ![]() marmar80
10/5/2023 07:23 | I sold mine which were held in my Isa as the halifax said that they would have to move them into my normal trading account if it went ahead and I didn't want to reduce my Isa value.I may buy back in my trading account at some point. | ![]() orchestralis

09/5/2023 19:49 | We have lost the battle, I am not happy about it to be clear, but we have to live with it or leave for good. The P6 well is still operational, Prax has some plan and has enough cash for acquisitions. I am taking a risk and bought more today. I will lose 1.50p soon but should get it back from P6 alone within a year. It is still worth to take this risk in my opinion. Selling it at 7.50p to Ophorst just does not make sense. With my 6p returned soon I will try to make 1-2p, matter of finding a good recovery play. Wish me luck please. | ![]() marmar80
09/5/2023 13:30 | Spoke to them last week. Barclays are waiting for word from either hurricane or Prax. They will put it on corporate news/actions when they know. | ![]() bill hunt
09/5/2023 07:54 | Good morning. Ophorst added. Now holding over 51m shares. They must be delighted with share price not rising higher and retail selling at 7.50. | ![]() marmar80
06/5/2023 19:00 | Does anyone know the crack with Barclays Stockbroker platform regarding DCUs.? | ![]() soilderboy
05/5/2023 15:44 | In case anyone is used to linking to InvestEGate for RNSs about Hurricane, they might need to know the new owner uses this link for Hurricane: www.investegate.co.u (It is tedious to have to go through a very long list of Companies to find the one you want. Hurricane's number is 779. Good luck with any others!) | ![]() wbodger
05/5/2023 14:40 | iii are asking clients by 24/5/23 to make a decision on which type of DCU you require in respect of Hur shares presently in ISA Accounts (excluding Junior ISA accounts). The DCUs will not be listed on any recognised stock exchange, and as such will be ineligible to be held within an ISA. Therefore, we will arrange for any DCUs issued to ISA account holders to be instead transferred to a linked trading account if you have one. i presume that the initial 6.02p dividend on Hur shares in total will be paid into ISA accounts Seems you need to check with your provider, A J BELL were the one's initially mentioning compulsory corporate action, although i think they have changed track on that one. i also note shares in a SIPP will be treated differently Hargreaves Lansdowne say DCU'S when issued can stay in a Sipp | ![]() laserdisc
05/5/2023 13:32 | I'm not sure what basis a Judge could ensure that , it is the investors decision where they hold shares not the company or the court..it also appeared that one poster said they could keep the DCUs in the wrapper as it was a compulsory corporate action so I'm not sure if all holders have the same problem . Maybe wrong but doubt this is a court matter. | ![]() kooba
05/5/2023 13:28 | Only those who hold on the ex dividend and ex capital payment date get the payments. If you have sold you have no entitlement to anything. The shares will not go ex until the scheme is approved end May /early June. Payment of the 6.02p then likely week 2-3 of June i reckon. | ![]() kooba
05/5/2023 13:25 | 1lady if you hold no shares today you will not get paid anything by HUR or The new mob if you do hold shares on some day in the future you will be paid something i.e nobody will get paid for having owned shares in hurricane at some point in the past but not now.... to coin a phrase you have to be in it to win/lose it tradeing is still open and the company is still listed on AIM if you sell your shares today, they owe you nothing in the future, but you might get more for them today than you'd get if you waited... then again you might not dpends on what you purchased them for and what the judge says/does and if the deal is approved and if the scheme actually pays what has been indicated Dave | ![]() dave999dave999
05/5/2023 12:59 | I am hoping the judge will insist that all the follow-on instruments are capable of being held within ISAs & SIPs.(I am not seeking recovery of SUBSTANTIAL trading losses). However, I do not want to end up paying dividend tax (etc) on what is essentially a capital repayment, crystallising a loss, whilst at the same time the funds are repaid outside the tax wrapper! | rahosi
05/5/2023 12:23 | Hi, I've just read that the 6.02p/share consideration will be paid to shareholders holding shares on the Scheme Record Date, (the time and date will be specified in the Scheme Document). Does anyone know what the scheme record date is? (I recently sold my shares, so I'm unsure if I'll entitled to this payment). | 1ladyinvestor
05/5/2023 11:22 | Daft question time - my account where HUR is held is set to auto reinvest dividends. It's all or nothing, can't select or deselect companies individually. Will the shares be delisted at the same time that the initial dividend is paid? Last thing I want or need is for it to be auto reinvested in more HUR shares!! | ![]() oilretire
05/5/2023 09:15 | "Completion of the Acquisition remains subject to the satisfaction or, if applicable, waiver of the other Conditions set out in the Scheme Document, including the Court sanctioning the Scheme at the Court Hearing which is expected to take place in June 2023."We will hear about the exact date in a while. For now it is trading as usual. | ![]() marmar80
05/5/2023 09:10 | Not sure the level investors paid or whether pi's hold in tax wrappers is necessarily a matter for the court, i might of course be wrong but i think the court sanction is really just reliant on NSTA & NSIA approval which should be through middle of the month..I'm not sure if that is a rubber stamp but would guess so. | ![]() kooba
05/5/2023 09:05 | The Conditions are always in the Scheme Document. They should be listed there. When they are satisfied HUR get a Court Date, get Sanction, and RNS 'D' and the updated schedule. Effective Date will be D+1 (per marmar above). Shares will cease trading with Court sanction. I'm still waiting for Wentworth to go Unconditional after a vote three months ago. They are still trading! (Another Stifel job.) | ![]() wbodger
