Well CA does have corporate board representation and is therefore considered to be inside and its board representative is entitled to far higher levels of information than other holders being a director of the company...totally legit. They also cannot deal in the market in any size without reporting activity same as any director.

I believe there are something like 8000 shareholders in Hurricane..admittedly a number from maybe a year ago so not bang up to date.HoweverCrystal Amber Fund Limited 575,649,999 28.90%Kerogen Investments No. 18 Limited 318,531,211 15.99%About 45% of the company is owned by just 2 holders.I would say the management would be concerned if they individually or apart sort change as they could call a General Meeting. Since CA has a man on board i presume the change in reporting is agreed at board level.Unfortunately a small minority of private investors are unlikely to change how the company reports imho.Hopefully will be taken on board but they could argue far larger holders have agreed to the change i guess.

All of the most recent above just goes to show how very uninteresting HUR is for the time being. Can't wait for Maris' response to our email query. Could lead to shareholder euphoria or...................................disdain, take your pick.

A sharedealing interest in HUR currently is akin to spending all day watching paint dry...........................but I do it all the same.

re spelling (generally) - it's tough enough posting when it is needed and one has to take care of daily life at the same time. in reading, one should always be wary of missing the wood for the trees.

I hope you and your family are very well.

The share price of Hurricane Energy has been constantly declining since Hurricane's last announcement.
There is a sense of profound discomfort within the shareholders and many are selling off.

The latest RNS informed us about the Company's intention to reduce the frequency of its production & finance updates.
You may guess that the monthly production & finance update has been a source of considerable interest & comfort to shareholders as the Company recovered from the dark days of 2021.

I am surprised that the repayment of the Convertible Bonds is the reason to halt these updates.

As long as single well dependency exists, monthly well performance, production & finance figures remain crucial.
The monthly updates are essential to prevent shareholders from losing faith in your company's business.

I would be extremely grateful if the Company reinstated them permanently. Such a step would be a positive indication that you are listening to and taking account of the views of shareholders.

Given his interest, and as a shareholder in Crystal Amber myself, I have copied this to Richard Bernstein.
