Quite simply, if I had any cash left I'd be converting it to HUR shares right now.

There may still be some slippage in the sp, there are much bigger factors at play such as the coronavirus pandemic which will affect stock markets globally (HUR will not be protected from that), but when the tide on this share price changes, it may be even faster and dramatic than it's fall has been, for the longer term this is no falling knife.

Malcy's had a bit of a shocker tbf, a monkey with a dart could have had more success.
However, it should be noted that he provides his blog for free unlike some other chancers. He might get a bit too friendly with some CEO's and ramp it up a bit but I do appreciate his insight (even though it has cost me a lot of money wrt HUR)….

@oilretire: That is EXACTLY the reason why we need an accurate guess of today's offload. If we can estimate the actual quantity of the current (9th) offload and then see when we have the next (10th) one, then we will know what our management did to cater for the bad weather - either continued at the rate of c.20k bopd and risk filling up AM to the full (estimated within the next 7 days) or reduced the daily production rate.

In any case, we are only making a very rough estimate of what is being produced. It is still valuable for us until we get the actual figures from management on 19th March.

We need as accurate guess as possible of today's offload because this time there is definitely much more than the usual 400k barrels on Aoka Mizu due to the long delay of the tanker.

That's a wrong assumption I'm afraid. We have no idea what they're adverse weather procedures are. If you approach tank tops (at any onshore & offshore storage facility) with tankers on hold or forecast to be on hold due to weather (or delayed for any other reason for that matter), operators will invoke cut back procedures. i.e. it's better to run at a reduced rate but steady state process for longer than going flat out in the face of a known problem to end up shutting down.

I've not been following close enough to guess on whether the AM has been in that position or not but from the comments you and others have made on this tanker being weather delayed and given the stormy forecasts of late, it's got to be a possibility.....

Finally, PetroAtlantic is on its way to Lancaster. Should arrive within a few hours. It's very important now that those of you that can calculate the cargo from the vessel's draught take careful note of its change. Currently, I am reading it at 9.2 metres.

We need as accurate guess as possible of today's offload because this time there is definitely much more than the usual 400k barrels on Aoka Mizu due to the long delay of the tanker. We can either offload the extra load with this cargo or our next (10th) offload would be very soon.

From today's calculations, we can guess whether we have been producing around the 20k bopd as planned.

TIA for your valuable inputs.

Malky if your reading this... At present the world is a wash with oil, we are going to see parked up loaded tankers all over the world like last time... HUR have arrived probably 5 years too late ... Valuations of oil company's are being drastically changed,No matter if they have 200 million barrels or 1 billion barrels.. most of it will never actually see the light of day.U will probably find nitrogen powered cars the normal, starting with Japan.Oil consumption will fall dramatically with in 10 years, due to many reasons of technology coming of age,But mainly people will not be mobile as we see today, they will not need to be. As for small oil company's being investments of the future ... very risky, majors are under considerable pressure to reign in any investment in new fields, and go for alternatives. My prediction for oil months ago was 40 ... I'm now calling 20What's happening today, is a carbon copy of what happened when the mining sector collapsed.. glencore at 70p .... HUR is still a big riskThe market has been saying this for months.. look at TLW stacked with debt .. but world class fields.HUR still needs billions to develop this UN PROVEN Field. It's worth a punt long under 10p !!Even then it's mkt cap and liability's are at near 500 million :-(

They aren't weasel words.Ask Hur whether they actually applied. It's pretty odd we find out about the P&A from the rig operator and not the license holders don't you think?
