Geezoir, it would be;

Kerogen with 318.531.211 shares,

Pelham Investments with 121.875.000,

AFFM with 106.842.835 and

Crystal Amber with 100.158.110 shares,

Totalling 32.5% of the shares in issue that would decide if an offer was to be accepted or not. I don't think we would not have a lot of say in the matter.

Some vague chatter on the boards about RRE going after Centrica's holding in Spirit? That could stir things up a bit.

Yea, that is what I am thinking now. Whilst its cheap, I would think the BOD would be under massive pressure to put it to shareholders even at 35p-40p and I think it would be accepted to be honest. They can't dismiss it when its at such a premium.

Even a low ball bid could start the ball rolling and encourage something higher.

A bit disappointed that oil tanker PetroAtlantic haven't moved out of Scapa Flow despite better weather. Three other oil tankers in the same area have departed to their respective destinations in the last 24 hours! Anyone with any updated info on PetroAtlantic?

Yes I believe a bid is coming...one reason the share price is held at this level is to allow a bid of some sort or JV deal/strategic partnership. I have seen many times before share price action like this. Could a premium bid be coming 20-25p which is still really cheap and might not be accepted anyway.

So what do we think the chances are for us being lined up for a bit of a cheeky bid? Bearing in mind we are at 15p, 35p would probably be of interest and put the BOD in a difficult position when its over 100% premium to the current share price

I think looking at where we are, the froth has blown off and volumes are back to a reasonable level. The price has not had any bounce whatsoever and that I have to say I am surprised at that. It would appear that for many the jury is still out, new investors seem to have been scared off, and I think we are going to have to wait for the CMD day for clarification and any chance of a share price recovery. Frustrating but without news, we appear to be stuck at around 15p.

A P&A RNS would surely see this back at SR's 10p? Fantastic call SR btw. This thread has been a real eye opener of late, some quite frankly astounding revelations imo. It's now nothing more than a binary bet at 15p with most indicators favoring a bust?

Maybe today we will close over 16p....solid base forming so very good chance of an upward trend beginning. Oil recovering and production increasing to so things are getting better around. Good luck all
