Al - it's a pattern in the jet stream. High pressure area forms and the jet stream, which normally travels west to east, is diverted so it heads NW then bends round the high prior to heading a bit SW before returning to its easterly flow. Looks like an enormous omega, hence the name. The area inside an omega is often pretty still.

An Omega Block is an area of high pressure . It means settled weather for an extended period of time.

The current build-up of CO2 in the Earths atmosphere is massive and needs to addressed NOW!

The chart in the link below shows past CO2 levels covering about 770,000 years. These values are not disputed, they are fact. They are recorded from Ice cores and more recently from atmospheric observations. The current atmospheric observations correlate with recent absorption by ice, so the recent atmospheric observations are proven not to be an artifact of the monitoring.

on this website, if you click on the link image in the top left you can flick between long period and short period graphs, you can also zoom in and look at more recent chart data in detail.

So what are YOU going to do to reduce your production of CO2 ?

"Nothing to do with CA" - I think CA have been a bigger drag on the share price than the buoy has been on the darn rope. Every sustained rise in share price has been pegged back by them!

"PI's get bored, see a better opportunity elsewhere in the short term etc etc" - I'm sure they do but they don't sell in blocks of 25/50/75/100k day in day out, week in week out, CA do..!

I must admit I am perplexed...it does not make sense with the information in the public domain. Further Hur share price is not responding to POO...strange...is this CA playing?

Nothing to do with CA if the market/shares did what they were supposed to do we would all be millionaires!!!!!!

PI's get bored, see a better opportunity elsewhere in the short term etc etc

Progress has been delayed so people are naturally cautious!!

I think I might start to worry if Kerogen start to sell, after all they (as investors) have the closest of access to the company.

Just to reiterate, I bought hur at 42p when oil was $50 and AM was in Rotterdam (Hur had hit 60p when oil was $80, but AM was still in Dubai). AM is now in Cromarty with Hook up attempt at the next opportunity. If successful, then Hur moves into the next stage.

When I bought at 42p share price oil at $50, I calculated that every extra $1 increase in oil would generate an extra $6,188,000. Oil finished above $66...from my base calculation (based on POO at $50) that would generate and extra $99,000,000.

I am aware that 17,000 bopd is the low target, and is only for the lancaster field...but the figures are staggering. With spirit to start, shortly, on the Warwick field I cannot understand why the share price is held back so much on unsuccessful hook up attempts. Is there something much more fundamental that is `wrong'? Is the share price deliberately being held back to allow some big boys in/and others to trade? Is this a case of a dam being held back, but ready to burst in a big way?

I must admit I am perplexed...it does not make sense with the information in the public domain. Further Hur share price is not responding to POO...strange...is this CA playing?

The hook up is imminent (does it matter if it is 2 weeks/2 months...what matters is that there are no underlying/fundamental issues.)

"Hey wow!!!! There's a two hour flat calm predicted 19th Sept 2020. Lets go to the buoy even if we ain't got all the right gear on board!"

Look guys, unless anyone has the inside track i.e. insider knowledge. All we should be concerned about is when the AM moves off its mooring bound for the whatever west of Shetland, oops! sorry WOS! Till then, let the share price drift down and we can all top up!! Geddit?

All this banter is just wearing out my laptop 'n doin me 'ead in!!!

Anyone any ideas why the GS has to do all the running back and forwards to Aberdeen. The GD crew have it easy by comparison.
