They will have months of earning on the listing so I doubt that is going to hurt them.

A nice flow of oil in say mid February well that might crisply roast them?

Now off the coast of Algeria, half the Med is gone.

Big volume today. Company has said it is planing a full market listing which would bring more institutional investors on board. In which case shorts will have their balls caught in a vice.

There’s a tweet by a tweeter called Amnesiac re Supply Biat contract from 1st December in situ.

Notified short interest has risen this week to 2.67%

The increased short was Marshall Wace up 0.09%.

As to what the under 0.5% shorts if there are any, who knows.

Lets hope they all get well and truly roasted.

I don't think it's short cover, not enough volume. This is something else, maybe market sentiment shifting as we head closer to home and out of the danger zone. Could be out next leg towards the dreaded 60p.

I must confess I did not even know that shipwatchers existed but I have enjoyed watching the progress of AM. as she sails closer to the objective of first oil. It brings the investment to life and I for one am grateful to the shipwatchers and the oil industry experts.

In the absence of shipwatchers, the same moaning people would have been moaning that since sailaway, they had been kept in the dark. No doubt they would have been speculating about AM breaking down, being captured by Somali pirates etc. Broadcasting the AM's position has filled what would have been a news void.
