05/7/2018 11:51 | Don't need an RNS... The buoy is currently at 59.784, -1.584 and most definitely heading west straight towards it's intended position. PBLJ is also being towed off-site by Havila Venus and Pacific Duchess. She's now heading SE, already over a kilometre from the well sites. | wessexmario
05/7/2018 11:50 | Has the boye left lerwick? | zztop
05/7/2018 11:44 | BUOY folks. Hardly anyone is spelling it right on here! Mr Pedantic Luckygit - Scottish Independence could easily have a positive effect on HUR in my view. They need the revenues and would doubtless make it very attractive for companies to maximise production. It would be different if the fields were mature but they need billions to get output up from Greater Lancaster, Greater Warwick, Whirlwind, and the other rather overlooked prospects, maybe as far as 1 million barrels a day with a bit of luck and a following wind. | hiddendepths
05/7/2018 11:05 | Totally Josephines partner......we need 50p and over st 4.30pm to se us move up. Plus we most deffo need a RNS that the bouy is on its way to site. | telbap
05/7/2018 10:59 | The Guardian. I see no reason for Scottish Independence to have a long term effect on Hurricane's share price.Indeed if you look at SNP Alex Salmond, an oil analyst by previous profession, he welcomes inward investment as does the SNP. The Scottish Green Party on the other hand supports Scottish Independence but wants hydrocarbon based energy to be reigned back. They do not have a large say in Scottish politics. Sit back and enjoy the ride. | luckygit
05/7/2018 10:31 | The Guardian 5 Jul '18 - 10:05 - 30567 of 30568 Very drole and true. A 10 bagger is a good target. First, lets stay 50p+? | napoleon 14th

05/7/2018 10:05 | The only downside is that Nicola Sturgeon will be using HUR's success as another reason for Scottish independence. At 5-10 times current sp, I will live with that. | the guardian

05/7/2018 09:59 | Any one got an estimate of what a share price offer for all the company would look like given the total investment to date and the future profits over a given time. | gary38
05/7/2018 09:28 | Extract from today's article in the Times: Oil majors such as Shell, Total, Chevron and BP already have interests in the area and are able to fund development programmes for existing fields as well as investing in new exploration drilling. Some independents have also taken acreage in the area as part of the offshore licensing round in which permits are awarded. Hurricane Energy is the independent company that has attracted most interest for its discoveries. Independent analysis has suggested that the company is sitting on prospects containing 2.6 billion barrels of oil. It hopes to begin processing a small amount of that through an early production system in the middle of next year. If that is shown to be a success then investment in the west of Shetland’s waters is likely to rise further. | bocase
