MrX001, the figures stated for Lancaster before Halifax was drilled was recoverable barrels based on 19% of oil in place, this is woefully understated and expected to be nearer 29% which I assume will be the figure in the new CPR. The EPS will show how the field will perform but it has an excellent PSI value.

Quite possibly those potential buyers are helping to keep the shareprice down.

Well I bought more this morning at 57p Cannot believe you can buy at this level.Smacks of big boys wanting their fill before letting it go. They don't want ca and kerogen to have all the fun.If we don't hit 100p soon we will be bought out though imo. I think 1.2 to 1.3 billion bid buys hur ATM and that is pennies to a major

MrX001 - not only how much oil they can get out, but the rate they can extract it.

look at lancaster metrics, for assumptions on halifax, sorry, the GLA.... :-)

Without being negative, the key thing for the price here is how much oil they can get out. It doesn't matter how much there is down there, until it's proved what amount they can potentially get out the price in my opinion will be in the doldrums. If you think they can get it out now is a good opportunity to buy. ;o)

Just spoken to Dr Trice @hurricomms who is 'chuffed' about this huge discovery, Lancaster and Halifax a single HC acculumulation 1km pay!

I posted last night that I'm simply going to hold onto my shares and wait for a takeover, so price predictions are a bit irrelevant for me - it will be what it will be. But they are a bit of fun.

Personally I'm expecting the Lancaster CPR to be in the region of 300 to 400m, 2C

800m 2P absolutely now way.

and i wonder if BP and shell knew about these data results, given last week they took up 26 licenses around WOS.... we know a few majors have been speaking with HUR, hence they took up the surrounding permits, and will do a deal with HUR on now what is called the GLA.

see the big picture!

My post "No CPR by the end of the Q1 then?" is at alamaison...

I believe there will be a CPR by the end of Q1, ie, this week :-)

I probably should have started with "so"....

these halifax results are only preliminary too, the lancaster fully analysed data revised up their figures, i believe too will halifax. min 1.1km oil column. might not be in april but i stand by 500p PT...

CPR this week for lancaster....... imo min ~800mmbo 2P then you'll realise that halifax is probably a min of ~1.4bill barrels 2P....... even a conservative nav estimate is a min 500p/sh.

expect a deal with a major too, and reasoning/strategy on the company formations recently setup.

let the dust settle, and imo we'll see huge buying in coming days...

and dont forget, lincoln is connected to warwick, thats a huge field with massive nav/share too....
