Probably some sold up and now have sellers remorse. Just sour grapes. Brent is eponymous for oil after the field name. Maybe, given the size, it will be Lancaster crude in the future :-)

Luckily my dad worked (retired now) for one of the majors and was head of market strategy there.. He has sent me some very interesting email's this evening..

Some of his "non retired" mates are already discussing this as a "new frontier"

I will not be selling a single share and hope there is an offering in the pipes so I can increase my holding (again)

What is even better is we were discussing the political fallout around a large discovery around the Shetlands over lunch today.. Trust me.. On that front it is probably a lot more complicated.
