29/12/2016 15:42 | I'd be quite pleased if your timeline and 1.60 ended up as reality. Mid to end 2019 would bemy timeline based o first oil and time for the market to respond. | hopeful holder
29/12/2016 14:34 | Reverse H&S chart pattern on the daily chart confirmation pointing to a potential target of £1.60 .Time line is much harder to predict but l have my retirement in 2 years time and l am going with that as a possible target time. | gary38
29/12/2016 14:29 | 100% agree | gary38
29/12/2016 14:10 | I guess so Extrader; I was trying to see the Scottish angle, hence my comments. One thing we both agree on; we are going to do very well out of HUR, and that is far more important! Cheers, Buffy | buffythebuffoon
29/12/2016 14:05 | Hi buffy, Thanks for your good wishes, which I reciprocate for you in your investments. AIUI, a lot of 'the few' were Czechs and Poles, flying fighters. Dr T's enthusiasm/homage is towards bombers (the aircraft, not the crew, incidentally a sadly ignored number (ca. 80,000, not 'a few')rather than fighters. Since we are clearly talking at cross purposes, perhaps we should just leave it at that. ATB | extrader
29/12/2016 13:25 | You seem a bit disgruntled that I didn't acknowledge/referenc Not in the slightest Extrader. You seem to have a propensity to read too much into simple comments. I don't think that the politics of Dr T is in the slightest bit relevant. I really can't fathom what you are implying with reference to the WWII planes that he pays homage to. Quite a number of 'the few' weren't even British if my colleague is correct. I wish you a multibagger with your investment in HUR. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
29/12/2016 12:44 | Just the same as when we hit 40p. It will take a few assaults on 50p before we finally break through and stay there. | the guardian
29/12/2016 12:41 | Syrian war will go on for at least 10 years as both main sides have the interest and the money to keep the war going .Plus it is now spreading to Egypt and Turkey. | gary38
29/12/2016 12:41 | I expect Mr Gulfsands is away celbrating for the rest of the day, an announcement of a ceasefire in Syria sent GKP soaring over 60% one hour after his post. Sadly it only made it to my watchlist not my portfolio. | james_jones
29/12/2016 12:36 | I am not selling lower than £1.60 which will give me a 300% profit and pay of my mortgage .At the moment l can not find another company that will potentially give me that return over the next 2 years. If any one know of another company which can potentially return that type of investment please tell me. | gary38
29/12/2016 10:52 | Re gulf......also potential losses of 100%.....serious melting pot over there, no matter who wins in the end, valuble assets are likly to dissappear as fast as Gaddafi gold.....good luck Mr. Sands, I will stick with with HUR, a little more stable. | telbap
29/12/2016 10:50 | Desperate stuff. | thegreatgeraldo
29/12/2016 10:36 | Quiet before the excitement. | gary38
29/12/2016 10:34 | Quiet on the western front? | rayrac
28/12/2016 16:21 | hiddendepths..no bidding war next year, eps first, if goes well then we could see a bid come in, so another couple of years yet,i would think | csjcsl2
28/12/2016 15:35 | IMO there could well be a bidding war for Hurricane next year. The most recent wells have been so much sit up and take note that even sceptics in the larger companies should have been won over to the merits of these assets. I maintain, as I've said consistently since the initial flotation, and through the dark days of 10p, that my estimate for the eventual recoverable reserves is at least two billion barrels. As the evidence gathers, this is looking less and less speculative. I was won over by the good Doctor Trice early on and believed in his vision, which also hasn't flickered. I learned early in my career as an oil analyst that the best gains of all in exploration tend to come from backing the man rather than the numbers. FWIW I got Warburgs, my employer of the time, to back Aidan Heavey when Tullow was 10p and short of cash. Mind you, that was a very long time ago....... Anyway, in my case, I put my money where my mouth is early on, and subsequently, and have a few hundred thousand of these, making it by a country mile my biggest holding. | hiddendepths |
