06/12/2007 14:04 | few more stale bulls today. positively rancid bulls more like. | markie7
25/11/2007 19:25 | stale bulls....a new one for me....I'd throw them away if they are stale mate | qs9
25/11/2007 16:33 | stale bulls? wtf are they? | markie7
25/11/2007 11:59 | The rot set in about a week ago with a persistent flow of small sales which turned into a flood (still tiny overall volumes) when the shares were marked down. Buys exceeded sales by 2:1 on Friday however so perhaps it has got rid of some volatile holders and/or stale bulls. I don't personally worry too much about the day to day price if it is moved on these sorts of small holdings. It is the institutional and management holdings I keep an eye on. So far so good on that front I think, if that isn't tempting fate. Nonetheless it would be nice to get back to what I paid for them all those years ago. I would expect the EBT to come in shortly at these levels. | whealan
23/11/2007 20:43 | Has hit finally hit a low and is about to bounce? not too many posts here, any views? | qs9
19/11/2007 13:57 | The Childrens Fund is well known activist - no doubt targetting the Fat cats here | chairman2
19/11/2007 13:31 | TCS seem to be quite a well known US fund. I'm surprised HNT got onto their radar. This article, admittedly a little old, seems to have the boss Eric Semler down as a shrewd investor. Lets hope so. | jimcar
15/11/2007 15:39 | Touching 90p OXMAN so are you putting dosh on the line for this? Been looking at ,arekting services companies - as possible defensive investments and beneficiaries of lower interest rate forecasts but cant be encouraged by what I see. Huntsworth now established a strong down channel which if it continues to fall and breaks the bottom of the channel will have all the TA artists calling it a short | chairman2
29/10/2007 09:24 | touching lows c.96p - if it gets near 90p i'll be buying | its the oxman
21/9/2007 10:58 | Markie7. You are of course right but one should remember that that is flat after effectively losing all CSV profits through the equivalent impairment charge in 2007 while (I assume) including them in the 2006 comparison figures. Incidentally, the year on year comparison effect of their including the profit from CSV in adjusted earnings but excluding the consequent impairment charge is probably much the same as treating CSV as an effectively discontinued operation and excluding it from last year's figures (which would in my view have been a better way of doing it) although it would of course have given rise to a lower absolute adjusted eps figure. As I understand it the CSV hit has been taken as to capital last year and revenue this year. Barring accidents that should be it. | whealan
20/9/2007 10:24 | Solid is it - all those looking for armagedon in the world economy will have to slink off and look elsewhere. problem is these shares will now trade sideways until Jan/Feb | chairman2
20/9/2007 10:23 | strip out sard - £1m. not in continuing earnings into 2008 and beyond. this is basically flat performance year on year even after the acquisitions | markie7
20/9/2007 10:18 | Seems to be solid progress. Adjusted diluted eps for the 6 months up from 3.1p to 3.6p, up 15%. | whealan
19/9/2007 20:13 | Back to a quid?? | chairman2
19/9/2007 16:46 | Interim results tomorrow. Let's hope for some good news and a move upwards and out of the current range at last! | 1964steve
19/8/2007 20:29 | Apparently the fastest growing section of WPP was public relations which bodes well for HNT. Lord chadlington is in the Sunday Telegraph today. In the second link given below he comments on the business in the first link. | jimcar
19/8/2007 18:01 | Has not breached the key £1 level in any meaningful way frankly I'm impressed After the bullish long term forecasts by WPP's Martin Sorrell last Friday I expect Hunsworth will remain strong | chairman2
17/8/2007 12:21 | Yes, reassuringly dull. At least it's held steady which can't be said for the rest of my portfolio. | 1964steve
17/8/2007 12:09 | held up surprisingly well | chairman2
19/7/2007 12:12 | Charlie Hunstworth this time of year have lots of ex staff as well as present incum - bents cashing in] their share options / holdings | chairman2
19/7/2007 11:21 | I see the EBT have bought 164000 shares @ 106 3/4. Always good news that the company thinks they are worth picking up, particularly when it is for their own benefit, unless of course they are simply mopping up employee sales to stop them dripping on to the market. | whealan
14/7/2007 08:57 | solid rebound on the chart - in line with the fundementals | laddi
13/7/2007 08:55 | big deal announced today in the US - all in cash! $18m up front; cap of $55m, earn out payable in cash as well. blimey. | markie7
12/7/2007 20:00 | The chart still looks dire, which is a slight mystery as the prospects seem reasonably rosey. Too many stale bulls knock any attempt at recovery? | andrewhbruce
12/7/2007 09:59 | There are interesting notes on the website from Panmure (June) and Altium (May) www.huntsworth.com/d www.huntsworth.com/d | jimcar |
