29/1/2007 07:46 | LONDON (AFX) - Huntsworth, a UK-based public relations group, said 2006 earnings per share would meet current market forecasts. In a trading statement covering the 12 months to the end of December, the group said it had matched or exceeded the performance targets it set itself at the beginning of the year. Huntsworth, which in late 2005 merged with rival Incepta and sold its marketing division to Media Square, has pledged to deliver a full-year underlying operating margin of over 20 pct. It also wanted to generate like-for-like revenue growth of 6 pct at its PR businesses and win over 50 mln stg in net new business. "Although 2006 was a transitional year, it was also one of extremely strong operating performance and I look forward to presenting the preliminary results in March," said chief executive Peter Chadlington. | welsheagle
28/1/2007 08:03 | Hi Oxman target on the charts is another 20p from 114 in the short term but needs to break 118 - trading announcement is scheduled for Monday 29th Jan Even 135 is cheap but it has been a nice first run after breaking the top of a trend channel it has been in for many months | laddi
27/1/2007 00:03 | so, quite a run to 115p - is this it or do people see us going higher still? | its the oxman
17/1/2007 15:03 | And another 50000 @ 109. | whealan
15/1/2007 22:41 | The EBT has picked up around 1m shares since the beginning of December at around 100p plus. EBT purchases on this scale would usually in my experience have senior management input. | whealan
12/1/2007 15:33 | come on hnt, nearly through 110p | its the oxman
08/1/2007 13:05 | Patience JIMCAR, patience. | whealan
06/1/2007 19:14 | Well, we are becoming popular. Though no mention of your takeover ideas whealon. | jimcar
05/1/2007 12:57 | Jimcar Thanks. I suspect you're right. But I can't think it will be too long before HNT gets caught up in the feeding frenzy, along the lines perhaps of those discussed earlier on this board. | whealan
05/1/2007 10:09 | Whealan This is where I got it from www.sharecrazy.com/d Looking at it again I notice that in the line above Carphone Warehouse is tipped at 375 which is where the figure probably comes from. Still its v. positive that Numis have chosen it for their media sector choice. All the M&A activity must be good for HNT. Sorry if it mislead anyone. | jimcar
05/1/2007 05:31 | i agree a misprint or wishful thinking | busy1
04/1/2007 19:44 | 375 has to be a misprint | markie7
04/1/2007 17:22 | JIMCAR Where do I find Top Picks in the Media Sector for 2007? Numis are the house broker aren't they and they haven't corrected it so far have they? A 375p target today is equivalent to 75p old money if I remember correctly which was my (so far) vain hope in those days when the price was around 30-40p. | whealan
04/1/2007 16:15 | 375p has to be a misprint. | azalea
04/1/2007 16:14 | The Numis target on their reserch note on 20th Sept was 121p, so I doubt if it is now 375p unless something dramatic has happened | infomation is power
04/1/2007 12:19 | Perhaps this is the reason for the rise NUMIS *The Top Picks in the Media Sector for 2007 are Huntsworth (375p target) and WPP (848p target Has anyone seen the note? target seems to be high. | jimcar
04/1/2007 09:12 | and holding c.106p - bodes well for a further rise at last | its the oxman
05/12/2006 13:56 | through 100p | its the oxman
03/12/2006 21:18 | The most recent three forecasts were in October this year, and the consensus for the three was 7.1p eps for 2006 and 7.6p for 2007. When did the news of Sard Verbinnen come out? | welsheagle
03/12/2006 20:58 | I don't reckon the forecast eps figure understands the effect of Sard Verbinnen walking out - £1.7m of profit in the interims came from CSV - that won't be there next year or going forward | markie7
03/12/2006 20:51 | HNT is undervalued. | welsheagle
03/12/2006 19:43 | so - welsheagle - what is your conclusion from all those stats please? | markie7
03/12/2006 17:34 | From November's 'Company Refs', when price was 90.3p:- a/ Prospective PE ratio of 12.0 (based on six broker forecasts, three recommending 'buy', and three recommending 'overweight'). b/ Forecast growth in eps of 7.75%. c/ Positive cash flow per share of 2.70p. d/ Net cash per share of 3.24p. e/ Price to sales ratio of 1.22. f/ One director buying recently. g/ Turnover up from £15m to £108m in last five years. | welsheagle
30/11/2006 13:42 | bit of consolidation c.97p and at last the chart suggests a break above 100p could be on. | its the oxman
24/11/2006 07:31 | Not huge, but nevertheless upped his stake 58%. Let's see if others follow. | azalea |
