PPS, If you want picking up from the airport, taken to your hotel then hospital etc etc, it's as always, you can have it all for extras.

I personally think I'm worth every penny that I'm worth, so when the flights get going again, I shall book the whole capoodle.

Getting back through customs maybe awkward, as I'll look nothing like my passport photo.

Jack, it's around £2500 in Thailand, a lot more here.

I went to Poland to have all my crowns done, that was three trips, but the work cost £5500, but here would have been £25,000.

I went to Prague to get my eyes done and they said as drinking they wouldnt do it, but kept the deposit.

Next stop...Thailand in 'big hospital' where they won't care about that, but I have to say that the dentists and doctors over there are nothing like people imagine.

They're spotlessly clean, just a lot cheaper.

Cheers.

Rabbit.
P.S Jack, if you make enquires on the internet, what I'm having is upper and lower eye surgery as was suggested by another surgeon would be needed.

Where does all this come from? I have smoked about 2 cigars in my life, and used a hanky once. All of a sudden, I'm a cigar smoking hanky waver?

HK is probably the densest place on the planet, with 15 mln people living cheek by jowel, and yet there's only been about 1000 coviders here, and only 4 deaths from it. It must be a different strain back home.

Tell me about the eye bag treatment. My eye bags are so big, they could double up as a rucksack.

P.S. I might put all my tenants rents up by 10% which is permissable, and should go down like a cup of cold sick.

Just when they thought things were bad........£ ...bosh.

I'll notify them now, but defer the increase for a few months to let them re-adjust to how much they hate and resent me, yet now, 10% more.

Jack, I just watched the news, boring as it it, but they were talking about opening flights between countries, perhaps the beginnng of June,

but there would be, as you were saying, quarantine restrictions, and in your case it ran into 6 weeks and more.

So,if I go abroad, or you were to come back to England,....where would you be quarantined and who's going to pay for your accomodation, and keep an eye on you to see if you have the symptoms?

Early release for good behaviour maybe an option: but make sure yousend those V.O's out early, so you can see your loved ones.

Never heard of them, Rabbit. Sorry. Why did you give money to a HK company?

All my bad investments have been in companies either based abroard, or with operations abroard.

P.S......... Jack as you're in H.K and it all happens there, do you know anything about the investment company..'Parantoux Capital'.

They all say how great they are, but I lost £30,000 to LC&F last year so my fingers are sore from that.

Cheers.

LOL!

Joy sounds like a right goer.
YOu can get flights every other day, but its pretty pointless. Bars and restaurants are open here.

P.S now I'm a grandad to a 3 year old boy who has a step sister of 12, who is an angel, but when it comes to buying them presents, which I do all the time, but I discovered that rather than guess what they'd like, I buy them what I would have liked, as if I never grew up.

and when the stuff turns up from Ebay, if I like what I bought them, I get another for me.

It works quite well from the point of choosing stuff.

They've got just about everything now, and I even gave their mum a 3 bedroom house, and I must have wanted that, I bought it.

Interesting posts chaps.

I'm finding the older I get that I can't have the fun I once had. Had I not have had so much fun I guess I wouldn't miss and crave it as much. I know lots of people who were living the same life at 30 as they are now at 50 and will no doubt love another 50 years of the same.

I want to live another 50 years but should I be lucky to do so have no idea on how I'm going to pass it based on the fun I had in the first 40 years.

If you two could please let me know the answer it would be much appreciated.

To continue with your car analogy, suppose you have the choice of driving the James Bond Aston Martin DB5, or the new Toyota prius. There is no choice.

Or suppose you have the choice of drinking a Baron de Rothchild 59 or a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau. No choice.

The problem with life, as I see it, is when we are young, we are not wise, and when we are wise, we are old.

But I do agree about not living till 100. With the lifestyles we have had, I very much doubt we will have that problem, and having the ballache of having to wonder where to put the card from Her Maj, though by then it will be His Maj.

Jack, this is I how see life and age, v's fun during your life.

I feel a long post coming on, so I'll praisey it best I can.

and these numbers are only to simplify my point, as there's too many cars and too many laps.

Right then, anyone that's ever been to a banger race, a demolition car derby, they'll know what happens, and it is good fun.

So let's say we have 100 cars that are well passed their resale age. and the mechanics that fix them up as best they can for longjevity of lasting, but sending the car into the race knowing sooner or later, it'll pull up out of the race. We'll call them the doctors in this scenario.

If you think of the driver as the heart of the car, and the car is the fun, and the car stops...end of story but what a great night's fun for the driver.

If one lap equals one year of a life time, personally I'd be happy to smash mine up on the earlier laps and love it.

The driver who makes it to the end and does the 100 laps crawls out of the car feeling victorious, then realises everyone else has gone home as their body was broken beyond repair.

So now the person who did the whole race..I wont call them the winner....they now need 24 hour personal attention for all break down services possible, all for a car that wont start, or at best misfires.

Quality of life is important and so's fun.

The doctors, or car mechanics do what they can to make the banger live as long as possible. Who for?

Just my thoughts and opinions.

Death is an incomprehensible concept, but life isn't.

Rabbit.

Any questions at all?

Whilst we are on the topic of light fingered ring pieces.

I hope Neo is still taking the moral high ground whilst encouraging and making a living from people falling into addiction and penury via gambling.
