#PH, share price predictions are a tough call, but what we do know is we have seen 40+ pence here before just from Yanfolila, the ounces are about to double from H2-2023/H1-2024 we are very likely to get a tailwind from POG too as/when rates pivot and the debt winds off so I see no reason why 80+ pence is not achievable, with the dark horse Dugbe still waiting on the side lines to add value, a long long way to go to recover investor confidence, but over time a full 100p all in would be nice to see with both plants running efficiently and a sale or JV at Dugbe.. :o)

Q4 first, and Q1-2023 to confirm the pathway to a recovery..

18 months of pain might give way to 18 months of gains hopefully... Yani sorted and Kor runnning might be enough to convince the market to a take a 12 months forward view on the potential 50-60 million a year...If we're lucky then 60p could be on the cards this time next year.

Q4/2022 done.., now the long wait for the results.. :o)

GLA invested here, it has been a most painful hold for 18 months now, but given the investment into the mining contractor/fleet/support we really should be able to demonstrate the much needed/anticipated turnaround beginning..

The likelihood of a stronger POG to sell into as the volumes go up with the addition of Kouroussa from H2 from monetary policy is on our side too..

Although it was great to listen to "And You and I" again, was "Going for the One" not a better option?

Let's hope so Charlieeee, 🙏
POG has been a saving grace for HUM even if down from the highs. I suspect its more likely to go higher than lower in 2023, which together with a better performing Yani, and a new mine Kouroussa adding to production, may see HUMs share price much higher this time next year. Hell we might even flog off Dugbe for $100m +

Happy New Year to you too, Temujiin and to everyone else.

As you say, a long road ahead, but in an uncertain world and with crypto exposed as a ponzi scheme, gold may glitter again and lift all boats, including HUM.

The current market cap is derisory and any success at Yani or Kouroussa will send the share price into orbit.

Well I never! Up TWO DAYS IN A ROW? Unheard of. Long may it continue, only another 22p to go before I break even. Profit? What's that? Perhaps the grinning idiot with his pathetic prophecy of "shareholder value" has faded into the background? With LUCK (I'm reluctant to say good management with these clowns) you never know this could be back to 40p....... in another six years.

And over on the LSEbb "madgpol" asks "surely they can't be as bad in 2023?" I think I am qualified to confidently answer that for you..............yes. They have "been as bad" since 2005, what makes you think anything will change?

Well if the fed is to be believed, they're hiking with a view to bring the core down to 2%

Whilst inflation made a rapid climb to inter-generational highs, the question is now how quickly will it fall back to 2%

I don't have any idea when the US Fed will stop raising rates but the US inflation rate, whether at the producer price or consumer price level, has peaked already. FYI

Below the chart is a list of all energy sources.

The y/y inflation rate in the US will decline again in the December report-out in January - and take a more substantial decline in the January report-in February-just through the effect of dropping off a big number for January 2022. Ditto for February and March. My optimism doesn't go as far as 2%, but certainly 4% and, maybe, 3%.

If so, the market will increasingly talk about a peak in rates. I don't think we will have to wait for summer.

PS I don't know if the annual rebasing will be affected but there is research on an alternative to the Owners Equivalent Rent (OER) part of the CPI. It is thought to be more reflective of the current housing market(OER lags) and could knock 0.5% off the y/y inflation rate.

#PH, buyers dipping a toe and the share price edging up nicely for year end in a couple of days..

Can they finally iron out the operational side and get the tonnages, and poured ounces back to where they should be..? .. :o)

Still an obvious BUY... Way I see it, year end 2024 earnings will be circa 56 million.

Can they get there with the support of Coris, certainly looking like it so far?

#jaspoland, agreed, this is what I expect to see, and providing the outlook is strong, buying could come in pretty hard and fast, Q4 should be the catalyst, but the outlook for Q1 being more important..

A very interesting point in the story here, interest rates should peak around summer, and when the pivot happens, Gold will pick up its skirt helping our margins just as Kouroussa 1st pour is slated..

I think most sensible people would want to see the turnaround RNS before committing more. Q2 2023 is still a long time away in market terms
