23/12/2022 17:07 | Another more Western leaning policy shift. It almost feels like the worse it gets in Ukraine for putin, the more Russia's influence in Africa seems to recede "Mali agrees to release 46 Ivorian soldiers after five months in detention" | plat hunter
23/12/2022 09:28 | I'm sure HUM have been keen to show everyone they've turned a corner for a while LLB :) unfortunately they keep failing at that, but this time with the higher grades they have a better than normal chance of meeting expectations. It would be nice if their PR team gave a brief end of year pep talk/msg to say all is operating satisfactory at Yani, but we all know HUM's PR is pretty shiite. True share price will follow performance, which is why we are at 6p and not 56p....but next year who knows :) | temujiin
23/12/2022 07:10 | #Temujiin, the share price will take care of itself over time, we need to get a couple of quarters on the board demonstrating progress first, and that 1st one should be coming up.. We know we have been there and done it before, so it is achievable, 31.01.2021 for the update last year, but that could come forward as the company will be keen to show Coris bank (and share holder investors) that we have turned a corner and generating positive cashflows.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
22/12/2022 21:18 | Our company should employ the same negotiating team! | simonbroughton
22/12/2022 20:44 | Temujiin Over on the LSE bb "Iwantthatone" says the same as you, quote "If they do manage to pour the 26K "THAT THEY PROMISED" etc. etc. Over a ten year period, these buffoons have never done "what they promised". Do really think they will start now? I mean really? | borderterrier1
22/12/2022 18:59 | Yep, all agree 25k is within easy reach assuming all moving parts, grades, extraction and mill function within reasonable expectations. I'm not sure 25k will move the share price much higher, 28k and more might if the corresponding write up is positive about the new mining operation. Extra Coris loan sign off will help and is obv needed to keep moving Kouroussa along. Would be interesting to know what Pasifino are hoping to get for Dugbe given Iamgold's Boto sale, a less impressive asset on paper, and sold for $282m. I'd be happy with just $82m (51% to HUM) and maybe a small royalty. | temujiin
22/12/2022 17:36 | Sleveen "25k oz would be good and demonstrate improvement." I agree. But unfortunately, I've been waiting for over 6 years for some "improvement." | borderterrier1
22/12/2022 08:51 | 25k oz would be good and demonstrate improvement. | sleveen
22/12/2022 08:41 | #Temijiin, interesting comparison to Q4-2019 - 1,452 POG / 839 AISC / 613 margin, costs have gone up significantly, but if we can get the ounces back up there the AISC should come back to 1,250 with an 1,850 POG, so our margin would still be c600/ounce.. IF we can get into the 30,000s again with a sub 1,250 AISC and POG moves forward to 1,950 then a +700/ounce margin and stronger cashflows will follow.. 1 step at a time but 25,000 ounces for Q4 is very achievable and will demonstrate progress, and the share price turnaround will be swift and does appear to have bottomed now.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
22/12/2022 08:24 | 53m shares in issue at IPO, 393m shares in issue now, that’s an increase of 640% or dilution of 86% Looks like shareholders have paid the price. | trader465
22/12/2022 08:14 | True, the evidence so far is its been done at Coris's expense :) | temujiin
22/12/2022 08:05 | CC...I've had investments who have so called "done it at the expense of shsreholders"...Howe Companies are always built on debt, you either get a loan from a bank or you dilute your shareholders. Either way capex doesn't grow on trees. | plat hunter
22/12/2022 08:04 | Don't forget the circa 30-40% increase in costs though. | sleveen
22/12/2022 08:00 | A reminder of Q4 2 years ago..... happy days :) 33,892 ozs of gold poured in Q4 2019 US$839/oz AISC in Q4 2019 Average grade of 2.91 g/t in Q4 2019 gold sold in Q4 2019 at an average price of US$1,452/oz | temujiin
22/12/2022 07:50 | #CC, not long until we find out if the trend has been reversed.. Holders sat in their UK office chairs often overlook the jurisdiction difficulties that come with mining, it is west Africa, the BOD are accountable for the results of their decisions, but when the mining is contracted out we are 100% dependant on that service being delivered in full, we just have to work with what we have got, progress, train, develop, improve, adapt and overcome the problems we face up against as we go along, now we are much better positioned with Corica onboard and the results should improve.. 2023 just around the corner now, and time to do the numbers.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
22/12/2022 01:36 | I actually think the owners of Hummingbird are going to do well out of this that isn't the issue I have. They have the assets but they don't have the cash they have run out. It's the way they are going to do it is what you guys should be wary of they will do it at your expense. Well that's the way I see it but as the saying goes it's the proof in the pudding at the end of the day. | creditcrunchies
21/12/2022 19:25 | kickingking I have explained why on here previously why I try to warn "investors" about this. Unhealthy relationship? Do you blame me? | borderterrier1
21/12/2022 18:46 | borderterrier1, of all the other boards that I have visited over the years on ADVFN, I have never seen you post on any of them. This means you hold an unhealthy relationship with HUM, almost obsessive, which can not be good. Anyway, good to know you have a fabulous life. Merry Christmas to you and others reading this too. | kickingking
21/12/2022 17:06 | kickingking. That's when I did put the stop loss in, but I was outside Internet contact for a time. No amount of complaining BY ANYONE will shift Dan Betts so the investors here that loving refer to this as "our" company are delusional. And my life is fabulous, thank you. Merry Christmas. | borderterrier1
21/12/2022 16:20 | Thanks Platt, that must be one of the 'far better' prospects that non shareholder TBTT was thinking of. The Boto Gold asset seems to have a similar AICS to Dugbe, $842/oz in 2019, but over a million less oz of reserves compared to Dugbe, 1.4m v 2.7m. LOM 130k oz/yr compared to 200k/yr Dugbe. All at a snip for $282m ! Nice one TBTT ;) | temujiin
21/12/2022 15:59 | Trading above 50 day moving average now | plat hunter
21/12/2022 15:54 | BT, what I don't understand is, why with 140000 shares which you have been holding for a least a couple of years, you did not put another stop loss in place when they were trading above 35c. I know that previously you wrote, "I don't like to sell at a loss". A share doesn't owe you anything. The portfolio balance is all that matters and you could have used the money left here to a purchase and profited somewhere else. No amount of complaining by YOU is going to shift Dan Betts from his highly paid role. Make yourself a New Year resolution, sell up and move on with your life. | kickingking
21/12/2022 15:40 | Arlington 1 knocker is right. Hum is unfortunately run by incompetent buffoons. | borderterrier1
21/12/2022 15:35 | Arlington, Hum is a serial disappointer. I would be surprised if there is much rise ahead of reaults, but anything unexpected to the upside - which would at least have novelty value - could give it a lift. If there were to be a bounce ahead of results though, don't wait on ceremony, grab it with both hands! | 1knocker |
