23/7/2020 16:54 | Last time it broke $1900/oz it dropped to $1600/oz within two months, $1500/oz within four months and $1200/oz within a year. | casual47
23/7/2020 16:48 | Agreed. I'd like to see gold appreciate 10% per annum for the next three years to max out on HUM. Unfortunately, commodity cycles don't work like that. | dickbush
23/7/2020 16:34 | The gold price rise is making me a bit nervous. I'd rather it had a slow and steady rise than the current one. I'm sure a $100-$200+ retrace will come along soon enough, which has led to me rolling some profits from precious metals into others. That said it is very nice having multiple shares hitting new highs each day.... These should be 50p :) | ukgeorge
23/7/2020 16:23 | There goes 1890, another $8.40 and we are there. Can feel that new tractor already. | cinoib
23/7/2020 15:46 | Think we can do $1900 today or do we have to wait another day, money must be pouring in as we are up $100 an ounce this week alone, that 2,200 of mine is looking very good at the moment. | cinoib
23/7/2020 14:22 | UKGeorge am in cey as well and has moved little n the last couple of weeks inspite a $100 on gold. Fres, well have been there as well but not at the moment. I remember when fres was £18 a share, I would like to think your 60p here will be right by Xmas. New_buyer, that's because they hate it when it's going against their bull they blabber. | cinoib
23/7/2020 12:06 | With the volume we are getting i expect RNS that MAHARISHI RAMKORUN reduced again, shame that they cant put on hold for a while. | avsome1968
23/7/2020 11:30 | Roll on 40p, 50p, 60p+ Earnings should be +20 cents a share this year, still don't think there is a more compelling investment around at the moment :) My fres have gone from £8 to £12 in little over a month fingers crossed these smash through 40p :) also hoping cey have a similar move when they break above £2 | ukgeorge
23/7/2020 11:06 | Resistance at 39p. Get through that and you have to go back to 2014 to see higher prices which hardly seems relevant. All on its fundamentals and relative value now, IMO. | dickbush
23/7/2020 09:18 | I thought these were going to retrace to 30p before the next rally. :) Fingers crossed Q2 results are solid and this momentum continues. (I play this song when my shares are flying) hehe :) | ukgeorge
23/7/2020 08:39 | The nutters seem to be all over at GGP.... its only 30% of an exploration play. I'm glad hum are unhedged and will hopefully be creaming the POG.....this could become a takeover play now the mill seems to be working well and with a extend mine plan and the development plan of the new mine is starting to look more interesting... even if the BOD cant be relied upon | aim999
23/7/2020 07:16 | These days I prefer to play a little safer and pick those already in production then most of the worry is out the way. =========== Cinoib, a wise strategy imo. True some eye popping money can be made on pre-production exploration companies that find bonanza grades, but its risky and timing getting out is tricky for the part time investor and a fund raise can scupper a decent rise at any time. HUM are past the equity stage, have FCF and funding via loans is easily available. 36p seems v.cheap giving it's production and medium term pipeline to double production. | temujiin
23/7/2020 03:31 | Hey Frank you still invested here. | fund1
23/7/2020 01:02 | Cii Nob, yes, gold flying, but didn't you bail out of here at 30p? | thejonah
22/7/2020 22:15 | Well hold your hats as we might, might see some forward action tomorrow as we just past $1872 and still rising. I predicted $2,000 by year end, that is now looking a little conservative at this rate. Will be up earl im the morn to see what the far east as done with the price. I certainly won't be surprised to see some attempt at shorting it before we close for the weekend. Temu Yes I was in AAU from early days at just over 1p and in and out untill it reached 5p and then the rumours of cash required made me bail as it was some years after before production African Diamonds, African Eagle, Griffin, assent resources, the list is endless some made me money some didn't. These days I prefer to play a little safer and pick those already in production then most of the worry is out the way. | cinoib
22/7/2020 22:01 | Thanks for the above. That suggests that when ARX reverses into VEIN the shares could fly which should get some excitement rolling over to HUM. We would still need a high and rising price of gold for maximum impact. Can't come soon enough for me. | dickbush
22/7/2020 20:54 | AAU were also doing placing after placing like it was going out of style ============= Yep, as does every company until it goes into production and starts making cash, which was my point. Moral of the story, which took me a while to figure out, is to be wary of those companies that are still on the curve to making money, and stick to those that can make decent profits and have just started to. HUM fitted that criteria, which is why I've relatively recently acquired 175,000 shares, and might buy some more when funds allow. | temujiin
22/7/2020 18:38 | AAU were also doing placing after placing like it was going out of style. I bet if you compared the market cap of AAU then to now, its probably more than doubled. HUM have huge amount of catching up to do. | redtrend
22/7/2020 18:26 | Thought 1600 might be it. Then 1700. Now 1850 and rising. 2000 doesn't seem fanciful anymore. With costs below 1000 x 120000 oz hum should be well above 50p this time next year. | glennborthwick
22/7/2020 13:48 | Cinoib Just to be clear, my comparison showed that HUM is valued at about a third of Resolute. I just used Mineral Resources v Enterprise Value. Simplistic, but the valuation difference is so huge that I'm sure other more acceptable measures would not come to a very different conclusion. Before anyone asks, yes, I did use only half of Dugbe's mineral resource. Just to be conservative, I've knocked off the $90mil to bring Kouroussa into production. That brings a similar valuation to 80p+. | dickbush
22/7/2020 13:17 | Good value all the way up to 50-60p+ should easily have free cash flow of 15p-20P this year. Not often the market gives you an opportunity like this. | ukgeorge |
