Buys 4 times sells on 1% of the equity traded today. Why isn't this higher and why is the spread still quoted as 2p?

new_buyer By your previous post, you have now agreed with everything I have said about this....... but it took you three years to get it. You should have mentioned that earlier and I would have been happy to explain my posts in detail. Alternatively, I'm sure Mummy or Daddy would have explained them to you.

BT, if you are expecting all your investments to be easy then maybe you are not cut out for investing. Being a hard slog and not what we envisaged does not make it a bad investment just the timing for many was wrong but still has time to come right!!

You have the balls to lie repeatedly that's what you have! You said recently about AAZ that you bailed out of to buy in here. You have been around since mid 2017, first on LSE before you got kicked off that site. If you sold AAZ before you bought in here then you sold there mid 2017 when the share price was about 17p and before it went up to 165p. What a great investor you are!!

Anyway this board does not need you and I whinging at each other so time to filter you again I am afraid as it really is too easy to trip you up.

new_buyer Make your mind up. You just said quote:- "this has been a really hard slog and not the investment journey we all envisaged". My opinion exactly. The difference is that I have the balls to say why it has been a hard slog ie. incompetent management and you don't.

UKGeorge me neither, plenty of legs left in this investment yet that's my opinion too but I don't blame anyone else if they did.

I certainly don't share BT's opinion, never have never will and would never be that negative about anything in life, and can guarantee you that when this hits 40p and then 50p he will still be around denigrating this company for whatever agenda he has. That's his right and also my right to disagree with him.

You would be crazy to sell at 30p.

The company should be making 4-5p each quarter possibly more.

They are working on spinning out Dugbe this could add several pence per share.

The company should be (net) debt free this year and have paid all debt in 2021.

Gold is at all time highs in sterling. Gold is insurance and the global economy is out of control.

I will not be selling any until 40p+

new_buyer We agree for once. Well said. It's just a pity it took you three years to realize it. Perhaps you should have listened to what I said two years ago?

I think there could be a number of investors selling out at 30p, not me, as for a few this has been a really hard slog and not the investment journey we all envisaged so I don't blame anyone that decides to cash in the their chips and move on.

Hopefully should be update this week which will take it up over 30p.
The big advantage of that is that BT will be able to sell out at no less than break even and leave us all in peace.
Sounds like a win win.

This was in the last quarterly update. I'm not sure whether to be excited or worried.

Worries
I have not been able to find anything out about ARX Resources Limited.

Hum previous attempts at M&A fill me with fear. Are we going to get sued again. Are we going to give the project away for too little. ETC

Excited
If the new company will have $30M cash to spend. Surely it will be valued at $30M +

What % of the new company will HUM get?

What is the Dugbe project worth? 4.2Moz ......

Ultimately perhaps a deal unlocks the value. Could be a bonus to the share price......

Dugbe Gold Project

As previously announced, Hummingbird has continued to explore numerous avenues in order to progress the exploration and development potential of the Dugbe Gold Project in Liberia. We are pleased to announce that, as part of this process, Hummingbird has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with ARX Resources Limited ("ARX"), a BVI incorporated company, whereby, subject to certain conditions precedent, ARX will acquire the Dugbe project and commit at least US$30m for further exploration to increase the already substantial (4.2m oz, independently verified according to the CIM Code) gold inventory and complete a Feasibility Study on the Project. The 2013 PEA showed an NPV10 (post tax) of US$337 million at a US$1,500 gold price and a resource estimate that the management of ARX strongly believe they can materially improve upon.

The conditions precedent include but are not limited to the satisfaction of all legal, government and regulatory approvals; the approval of both Boards; the availability of at least US$30m of liquid finance; an approved management team with the requisite skills and experience to develop the project and satisfactory shareholder protections, including various anti-dilutionary rights for Hummingbird. As part of this deal, Hummingbird expects to become a significant shareholder in ARX, have Board representation and assist with the development and execution of all operating plans. Further updates will be forthcoming if the ARX deal progresses to a binding nature, of which there is no current certainty.

Hum looking good this morning, most producing gold companies are, TSG 10%, AAZ 11%,SRB 20% HUM up only 5% seems to be getting held back to me demand for the shares are their for sure.
If you look at TSG another that I've purchased month or so back TSG have 110m shares hum have 350m TSG produce 40k per year hum 120k, TSG have lot better grade and pay a divi,Tsg results back end of the month beginning of may can see them pushing 80p range before results, so hums 28p price today is still very good value to buy for a 100% gain over this year.
If gold stays above $1700 by the end of the year we should be dept free and see a divi being payed next year.

BT be 30p tomorrow you stick or twist ?

I'm amazed at the current "love fest" on the LSE bb!!! Do you guys really think that this shower of self serving incompetents give a rat's a$$ about the shareholders? I mean really?
