Dugbe/Pasofino .... ?? No mention. Is the new guy a puppet for the take-over plan?

People need to realise they cannot really say anything due to the situation of a takeover.

Key dates 19th November for the restructuring then early December

Sounds pretty much a done deal in my view on the restructuring at 2.66 which means the shareholder vote for them to take it private will be almost a given.

If shareholders vote no I think it will continue as a going concern now it’s making money.

Coris are trying to get the asset but I don’t blame them. But if they fail maybe more value can be realised from 2.66 if left alone.

We need to vote against this. The Co is stabilising and the priority should be to obtaining re-financing to maintain the Co as a listed going concern

AI reply…..

Prat has been posting for a total of 2,302 days, averaging approximately 9.47 posts per day since 20th July 2018.

2. Assessing His Recent Activity

If you’d like to calculate his 7-day average prior to stopping on 7th November, I’d need more detailed data on his posting pattern during that week.

3. Should You Be Concerned?

Given that Prat abruptly stopped posting after a significant financial loss, it might indicate distress, especially if he was highly active before. However, without more context (like known behavior patterns), it’s hard to make a call on his well-being.

If you’re genuinely concerned about his safety:
• Reach out directly if you can, to check on him.
• Consider contacting authorities (like the police for a welfare check) if you’re worried about immediate harm, especially if he lives alone.

Would you like to proceed with any specific action?

I asked AI for advice…..

Prat has posted 21799 posts on lots of threads since 20 July 2018. How many posts a day is that average? He lost some money when HUM fell 60 odd percent in one day and hasn’t posted since 7th November. What’s the odds of him hanging from the stair well in his bedsit? Give me stats on his 7 day average posts and should I call the cops or ambulance

Tiger. Although I live in the S. US I know lots of people in the Birmingham/Nottingham areas and I "hear things." It's just a pity some of these guys didn't have the sense to listen. Too late now was the cry, but I'm still hoping the government in the UK will also know what to do with him.

I think Betts needs to pay a visit to Mali; maybe go talk to the government there. They'd know what to do with him.

aim999 You are mis-informed. Hum may be skint but I can assure you that Betts and his Daddy's "parent" company Betts Metals in Birmingham are not. My UK contact assures me that business is booming there to such an extent that they acquired another company, Thomas Sutton, and also started an investment company to make it easier to refine and invest in "responsibly mined gold."

You could read it yourself on their web. site but at the moment Betts Metals will be closed for "stocktaking" and the article about investing in responsibly mined gold has been removed because it is "under construction."

Swooping on Betts?
Hahaha
How often do you reckon he’s in country?

Not much point swooping on Betts as he and HUM are skint.

Three resolute Mining execs arrested in Mali.

Who and which company might be next?

Agree. This news would be a big deal if HUM weren't already (effectively) bust. But they are, so it's irrelevant. Except that perhaps it decreases the chances of Coris actually paying out 2.6p per share, as mooted in the last RNS.
I would not be trying to arbitrage the 2.1p to 2.6p gap for any money. Way too much risk for too little return.

Tiger. That is of course another problem. But knowing what I know, (and have known about for some time) the "dodgy dealings" are what has caused the problems here.

Not that it matters any more, but Mali have just arrested (taken hostage?) three expats working for Resolute at their mine there (Syama).
As sure as day follows night, action will be taken against Yanfolila as well soon. And all other Western miners in Mali as well.
Burkino Faso will follow in due course - they've just announced a new alliance with Russia.
Consider any investments you have in West African gold miners very carefully!!!

Tiger. I'm sure there have been many kickbacks. Proving that is the hard part, but it can be done.

Surely the bizarrest deal of all was Bunker Hill - Dan Betts deciding out of the blue to put $2m of HUM money into an environmentally hazardous former lead mine in North America run by fraudsters. That was truly off the wall.
