21/10/2024 16:08 | “there are enough punters around willing to bet on a positive response to the Q3” How did you reach that conclusion? The thread is dead, even Prat has given up here 🤷a Meanwhile SRB, RSG and ALTN continue to make new 52 week highs 💰 | trader465
21/10/2024 15:52 | It would seem there are enough punters around willing to bet on a positive response to the Q3 numbers when they are released sometime soon to start pushing the share price up a little. If HUM can demonstrate that they are producing at anywhere near 200k pa equivalent and are making any kind of a dent in the overall debt burden then that may be good enough for now to put the share price on an upward path.It really should not be that difficult, but given the history one should take nothing for granted. | backmarker
21/10/2024 13:42 | Infinity888 Bullwhip. | borderterrier1
21/10/2024 13:02 | Pasofino update incoming - deal above 100M$ now | infinity888
21/10/2024 12:12 | Cinoib Yep. If brains were dynamite some of these guys wouldn't have enough to blow their hats off. I think the "logic" here is that "its at an all time low, it can only go up." Unfortunately, especially with this, that doesn't always work. Ask Plat. | borderterrier1
21/10/2024 11:44 | Mornin g B.T. when you wake up. I see the fools are still buying here 2 mill traded this morning. If they have that much money to throw away they can always throw it my way then I can buy a bigger farm. | cinoib
20/10/2024 23:34 | Gentlemen. Quiet here isn't it? Silence is golden as the saying goes, but not in this case. I think this finished. | borderterrier1
18/10/2024 14:40 | Ferrugia. I believe you are correct. But at least you know now that there is an investigation in progress and the long term share holders should get some answers. | borderterrier1
18/10/2024 14:31 | Cerrado Gold resuming its climb - its at least a double from here but i'll await the treble! Meanwhile Hum is dead signalling that the market knows the company is on a knife-edge. Dan has screwed all shareholders. | farrugia
16/10/2024 22:53 | Ferrugia. Just shows what (with proper management) gold should be doing these days? Perhaps trader465 posts need looking at? Certainly strange how this company has "progressed" over the years isn't it? | borderterrier1
16/10/2024 18:29 | Cerrado Gold Inc up another 6% over yesterday's big jump and the rally hasn't even started. Market cap at 33.00M Canadian (18.45 million in sterling!!) for a producer is pitiful when they are getting all that money from Hochschild as well. Here's their trading update announced today: Their main mine is now in Argentina. | farrugia
16/10/2024 13:27 | Farrugia Fair enough, Plat said the same thing. I only throw the bones to help others, I don't ask if they taste good. | borderterrier1
16/10/2024 06:59 | The rain season has been particularly bad in Africa this year. THX have said today… “we have been impacted by extreme weather conditions with a heavy and prolonged rainy season and have also been disrupted by a fly-rock incident and logistics delays early in the period” One wonders how HUM will fair, not too good I expect another RNS here to begin with “due to circumstances outside of the company control” | trader465
16/10/2024 06:42 | Inflation down, interest rates coming down, POG 2,750 for FY2024, 3,000 in 2025..? Q3 production update due soon, with a mining CEO expected in H1-2025 to get to grips with the poor operational delivery and performance.. The key elements for success are already there gold in the ground, 2 working mines, POG to sell into and cashflow support.. Organisation, leadership and experience can and will be added, starting from the top and the sooner the better.. We should get notice of results here Friday/Monday, they came out on 26th of last year.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/10/2024 05:47 | border i prefer the silver/gold PRODUCER miners (which also carry risk!). And why would you use sun power to producer hydrogen when you can use the sun power itself to make electricity? These days I'm very wary of 'hope' companies - it rarely works well for shareholders. In fact I'm exiting a few of them to use the capital losses. | farrugia
16/10/2024 00:01 | Farrugia As you know 6 months ago I was told to take a look at pink sheet stock HYSR and I put that info. on here. At that time it was 0.01, it went up 300%. Might be worth a look. | borderterrier1
15/10/2024 18:07 | Jim gives you zero extra info. | farrugia
15/10/2024 17:24 | Nice update from Jim https://mining.beehi | cat33
15/10/2024 17:20 | Cerrado Gold finally running up 16% It is still double/treble from here long term. | farrugia
15/10/2024 12:55 | Charlieeee Major shareholders are always reluctant to pull the plug. We can all speculate as much as we want but after this length of time, for this share price to be where it is today with the POG at record highs I believe something is amiss. Of course, it could be as you suggest, just be bad mining practices by the inexperienced. Re. the pit wall collapse. We were all told that (Frank Campbells glowing report) that the mining area had been plugged by experts (40 years mining experience in W Africa) to prevent collateral damage from the annual rains. The purchase of the second ball mill (11 million) was also considered by many mining experts to be a mistake. No problem, it's all in the past. But I have a suggestion. If you haven't already done so, perhaps you should take the time to read the posts on here from 11634 to 11658 and 11619 to 11681. I believe, (as many others do now) that they should be looked into by the proper authorities, don't you? If not, why not? | borderterrier1
15/10/2024 12:32 | The point is that HUM have managed to survive bad times and turn the situation around previously. When the pit wall collapsed, all looked doom and gloom, but they borrowed for the extra ball mill, expanded production capacity and had some of the most profitable quarters following that. After a dire period in 2022, they hit their stride with Komana East and produced three good quarters in a row, as promised by Thomas Hill at the 2022 AGM. With the current POG, they don't even need a stellar performance to break even/move into profitability. What I found encouraging was that Thomas Hill was prepared to say grade control corroborated reserves. Grade control is done at close spaced intervals in the rock just about to be dug, so unless mining is badly done or mill recovery is low, results should match predicted and that is higher grade....just like getting into the better grades at Komana East. The mill relining will have impacted Q3, but unless Thomas Hill was lying, October will repeat/be better than July at 4800 oz and extrapolating July gives 58k oz pa. With annual costs of $100 m (that can be confirmed by the H1 accounts) that gives an AISC of roughly $1666: plenty of margin, even on the hedged oz. Of course, better results are required to shift the debt quickly, but with such a high POG the survival bar is so low and has already been met: that is why this is being supported by the major shaareholder. | charlieeee |
