But are the volumes that are now required the same as those needed last year to get down to the higher grades.

backmarker All the obvious ones..... that many others have already mentioned. And if this WAS progressing as it should have done after this length of time there would seem little doubt that they exist?

40p as a mud field seven years ago, 8p today with gold at all time highs? Come on! Just bad luck or mismanagement and incompetence? It isn't exactly rocket science is it? Who would you blame that on?

And even if I did have "specific knowledge", in other words, exactly like Campbell the Hum Pied Piper told us HE had in 2018, I wouldn't be stupid enough to mention it on here like he did. Couldn't that be construed as pump and dump? Hummmmm?

BM well it took Corica 6 months and by the sounds of it they still couldn’t hit the volumes

The volume would suggest someone knows or feels better times are ahead. Let's see

It was just the way you expressed yourself suggested you might have some specific knowledge.Which are the rash decisions you were referring to?

Looks like a bit more interest today. And in larger size.Unfortunately not much is going to happen until we get some clear news on how the situation is developing.Everything is purely surmise at present. Do we surmise that if Corica were to be persuaded to restart work that would have happened by now ?HUM have reported they are in discussions with our contractors but given no details. Even if they are doing some deals, how long will it take extra kit to get to Kouroussa and then get up and running? I've no idea, does anyone else?.

backmarker I certainly don't know "the details" of anything here, I doubt if even the top management do either. But from the get go (over a six year plus period) this has had an unenviable track record of countless banana skins which obviously must be attributed to someone? And before you come back with the "that was then, this is now" scenario you should probably take a long hard look at how this farce unfolded?

You could start with post 4549 2nd August 2018 from the then co. mouthpiece and Pied Piper fsjamescampbell and follow it with the 73 page dossier that "long and strong" Campbell prepared for the "investors". Campbell is, unfortunately, no longer invested here, after preparing that dossier, he bailed out three days before this dropped like a rock. Strange eh?

Bt1, good, it seems you know the details of how the Kouroussa complication came to pass. Do share.Did HUM mgt impose conditions on Corica that were incapable of being met, so that was why Corica stopped working? Or was HUM mgt too lax, and Corica took advantage of them, clearly for months by HUMs reports over time of Corica's breaches.Or was it something else? Please tell me all you know as I really want to know and understand what happened and how HUM screwed up.

backmarker Eventually, that could still happen but then that's a no win situation for the bank. But it should be abundantly clear by now to all concerned that the problems here were created largely by incompetence, inexperience and rash decisions. Until the source of those decisions is removed, this will stagger from crisis to crisis and this will continue to fail. Common sense should tell us that with gold at all time highs and this share price at all time lows there is a common denominator for the failure here. But for some of us, common sense isn't always that common, is it?

Agree with you there bt, fear and greed. So what's your version of how it will play out here.An RNS saying the Company has requested that trading in its shares be suspended and that Coris has withdrawn its banking support?

No one's going to court....Corica will be paid subject to contracted mining rates. The step in clause is the final nail in the coffin with regards to them returning...

BTW the client that mentioned this to me bailed out three years ago with a $400,000 LOSS. Also, I'm sorry this didn't do what you expected, I hate to see anyone lose in the market. BUT, by your own admission, you "stick to mining" presumably because you understand it? This has completely fooled you as it has done with many others, mainly because we are still being fed absolute hogwash and B/S. And even now I bet some are lining up to throw money at it, just like we both did. Fear and greed.

I reckon we will get some sort of positive spin on KOR just prior to the AGM (which should be at the end of June). Dan, the CFO and 2 NED’s are up for re-election this year so they will be looking for some positive news to shore up support for their re-election. Ultimately CIG will decide.

Plat. Makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, I was advised to invest here by a third party client from London who convinced me Betts and Co. were the real deal, he was "in the know" and of course, I foolishly did.

Frank Campbell who "won the trip" to Hum in the early days to promote it (post 4549) in accordance with Del Boys instructions was obviously so full of $hit his eyes turned brown. No doubt (like many others who were suckered here), we will live to regret it.

It's why I stick to mining Border. I don't have the time for learning new industries and following different trading patterns.

Plat. I understand and I applaud you. But logically, how many can afford the time and effort to do that? We invest in a co. to make money and the abysmal track record of this one spells it out for most now.......it is well and truly finished. Kaput. Zero chance of any sort of recovery here. Del Boy is hopelessly out of his depth with this, always has been, but he is laughing at the shareholders. He has no more rabbits to pull out of the hat, but still he's prospering at the SH expense. He's well and truly shafted us all.

If they can get a second mining fleet from ETASI - or elsewhere - and are able to continue blasting without hindrance they can probably get enough ore to production that the profit from Yanfilola will cover the deficit from Kouroussa. That should be objective one: remove the immediate cash squeeze. Then it's a question of how long to get more resources to Kouroussa if Corica continues to ground tools and takes the dispute to court.

Took 8.2p yesterday for my last editions at 6.7p

Can't deny the volatility here though Border... I've nigh on doubled my holding here for free, just by retaining my gains as shares, rather than talking the cash.

Growing your holding from trading also dilutes your costs... I'm in here for less than 11p now. I Might not get my £3 token dreams that I had when I first came here but I don't think I'll lose now.

Plat. It doesn't matter. mwv1 is right, just more excuses coming. This is a complete train wreck, the dog of all dogs. Notice how even the most supportive punters, LLb and the like are slowly giving up on this now? Years ago, "Golden Bull" was the same, he lost his life's savings here. This is not going anywhere now, ever.
