QS99 - very much a long shot but I think reducing debt levels, new systems and more people hiring equipment to improve their homes rather than move will pay off in the end. With such a limited news flow it's near-impossible to judge what (if any) progress they're making. I'm prepared to wait for results in April before deciding whether to exit with a small loss or stay invested for the medium term.

Nothing to do with HSS or the industry. Looks like they've messed up their accounts. There'll be a non-cash write-off. Thanks for pointing it out.

this company needs a new management team: the reporting is so intermittent as to be non-existent. Nothing for months....however, I do sense that continued good news on paying down the debt and operational improvements should see the share price trend higher in 2023....views? DYOR

HSS tends to release a Q3 trading update around the 20th of November, but they've skipped it from time to time. Is it expected this year as well?

Had a small punt on this

News about forthcoming power cuts might just lead to uptick in business for hss and other tool hire companies mitigated by fall off in construction related hiring

First time investor in this particular company but nothing ventured nothing gained

Will tuck away in sock drawer and await those "Better Days"

Good luck everyone very difficult to read the markets at moment .

How much is significantly? From what I can see there is very little debt reduction that has come from operating cashflow it all comes from when they sell part of the business and they've nearly run out of bits to sell..

Debt is coming down significantly by the numbers and with c.£33m EBITDA at half year, should IMO come down significantly again in H2 no? Even with capex etc. yes interest rates going up on its new debt facilities won't help, as looks like a floating charge, but with reducing debt this should IMO be a small problem? DYOR
