I bought back in to HSBC.
Thought I would have another go at this one.
Plenty of upside.
Could be rocky on the way up mind you

Added 1000 @ 298p, just under 600p at the beginning of the year, I sense some big M&A activity coming up

Good time to add, certainly - a pull-back, higher low being set, an intra-day dip below 300p to take out any stops. All set up.

I simply don't know, but probably the best set up over the past year or so.

Adding more on this pull back, it’s a long term play 2-3 years min imo

October handicaps due in Hong Kong which start with
Communist week of celebrations (Golden Week holiday)
followed by
Nationalist week of celebrations
'
In the past riots could be expected in both weeks
and Chairman Mao's little Red Book was essential reading
Hong Kong dollar was 16 to the pound whilst Singapore dollar was 8 to the pound.

Relocate to HK? I presume you are joking with everything going on.Singapore possibly with the tax breaks and more stable environment. HK would not be an option anymore

Dirt cheap. Looking at doubling money over 18 months following previous patterns. Buy low sell high...thats how you make money buywell you imbecile, not buy high sell low in panic and fear. If Hsbc have the sense to relocate to HK that alone is worth 30 pc plus on the share price, it makes no moneyy in the U.K. anyway and the countries best years are defo behind it, asia is where its at going forward.
