10/2/2016 08:49 | Had been looking for years for a reason to buy back into these, could not find one, the people who post on this Board have far more knowledge than the current HRN management, hope no one has been hit too hard. | royaloak
10/2/2016 08:37 | Be a shame if these go broke. | arthur_lame_stocks
10/2/2016 08:15 | We had some quite antiquated storage and accounting , but it generally worked well , so we thought we would come into the 21st century with some whizzy accounting and logistics, it's not quite the ticket though , written off a million after stock take in new facilities recently and because our new accounts system wasn't quite thought through we have had to change terms to our retailers , again , leaving them further out of pocket when they settle their bills on time , excellent or as Homer might proffer Doh ! | holts
10/2/2016 07:25 | Blimey, after many years of re-structuring, they still don't seem to have a viable business. | shanklin
08/12/2015 07:56 | A lot of 'jam tomorrow' waffle. | typo56
10/11/2015 08:04 | Was expecting better. | anony mous
10/11/2015 07:41 | Inevitably distribution issues used as excuse for profit warning , certainly there were problems but the rebound in september should have resulted in far more than nine per cent . Hornby continue to drive their trade customers to other manufacturers by not only competing directly with them but competing on a discount basis against them , what makes them think that their trade customers will stick with them on any susbstantive basis ? Whilst clearly they do not care about that , their ability to serve that hobby area are exceptionally poor , once damage is done recovering will be very difficult. | holts
23/10/2015 19:10 | Sp now below my early 90s guidance. The aim listing does not help holt aswell.Maybe worth a buy at mid 60s.Will wait.... | anony mous
23/10/2015 15:07 | Regrettably Hornby have taken decisions which will be damaging to the long term and handed an advantage to their competitors . A change to the business model that rotates away from their retailers will possibly give a short term boost to gross profits however their lack of knowledge of the business they are in will result in loss of business long term . | holts
02/10/2015 12:47 | As thought.Sub 1.00.Gonna trickle down now to early 90s.Nothing too positive from last update. | anony mous
07/9/2015 16:03 | Being listed on AIM brings its own problems. Not keen on this move.Though it has held steady over 1.00 past few weeks through turbulent mkts.Really not sure about this move.It can get hammered easily to sub 1.00 on any slight neg news. | anony mous
17/7/2015 09:21 | Chart looks superb to upside move. | anony mous
17/7/2015 09:18 | Back over 1.00.Steady climb now. | anony mous
10/7/2015 06:24 | Blimey, HRN's RNS today makes it sound as though their business is more complex to run than Network Rail. IMHO. | shanklin
08/7/2015 19:22 | Holding very well over these red days.Bodes good and looking to move up channel now. | anony mous
18/6/2015 21:38 | Surely moving to AIM and fundies will gradually bail out... | diku
18/6/2015 21:07 | The move to AIM will doubtless shake out some holders, but on the other hand the shares should become zero rated for Inheritance Tax under the unfathomable logic of 'business assets' rules. That makes them much more attractive for those chronologically challenged folk, who very likely played with Hornby trains in their first childhood and are familiar with the offering - well part of it anyhow. | dozey3
18/6/2015 14:37 | Neither imo. Placing at 95p, share price will invariably drop to that level. A few days of this and then i hope we can rise again. | fozzie
18/6/2015 11:28 | Hmm. Mistimed my buy then. Is this good or bad? | brucie5
18/6/2015 07:18 | Someones happy.Numbers are good. | anony mous
18/6/2015 07:18 | Massive 400000 buy gone through at £1.00 | anony mous
18/6/2015 06:27 | Their inability to repay their current debt in full , if needed , is quite simply down to the moronic purchase of Corgi , upon which I commented at the time , it was known to be going bust yet those idiots Martin and Cole pursued them and were mugged for 7.5 million , at most 1 would have been enough and its still a white elephant . | holts |
