Now to buy/sell all a matter of interpretation OR BALLS. Oh in case you think i aint got a clue Well i retired 9yrs ago on stockmarket gains so put that in your collective pipes & smoke it.!!My fun gamble in HILS is a mear £30k | barniebear
09/5/2008 13:27 | 2) and 7) Do you think that a repayment of £39m is not significant? I do, esp in light at the operating level the business As he points they have over 40m of cash on the balance sheet. Get real. | gco1133a
09/5/2008 12:06 | John Just to take one specific point ref misinformation, you state above that the business has net assets of £185m, I simply cannot see this from the report and accounts of the company, they read £98m (including £93m of Intangibles) for 31/12/07. Please explain your above comment - I assume you will not be forwarding your missinformaion to the FSA on this occasion. Sensible discussion going forward would be appreciated. | lendmeafiver
09/5/2008 11:42 | John Your comments are absolutely outrageous. You seem to think that anybody who takes a different view to you should be reported to the FSA, none of the issues raised by me have been fabricated and you should withdrawal that comment. Lets have a bit of sensible discussion here that is after all that what I thought these discussion boards were for: 1)By your own information Groove have sold £1.9m and purchased £0.65m, and like it or not it is a significant reduction in no of shares 2) and 7) Do you think that a repayment of £39m is not significant? I do, esp in light at the operating level the business has never really performed that well see NCFOA line 2007 = £14.1m 2006 = £4.4m 3)I was only referring to current year PE, thanks for the info on forward earnings, believing the forward earnings forcasts is the key to every investment - I currently have no view on this at the moment. 4) and 5) Its good too see the business is performing well even in light of the US slowdown, very encouraging 6) When excluding intangibles at 31/12/07 the business only had £6m of net asset value down from £37m at 31/12/06 My conclusion with this one is its all about how the business will deliver on the investments it has made over the last 2 years, personally I like some of the businesses the group has, I wouldn't be researching it otherwise but Im going to wait for the half year results before making any decision. | lendmeafiver
09/5/2008 07:27 | From todays statement: Summary Our performance remains in line with expectations and the Board anticipates being able to report continued progress in the year. There have been no other material events since the announcement of our annual results on 11 March 2008. | johnrxx99
08/5/2008 21:56 | John The only information that I have looked at is the recent report & accounts from the company, Im sorry that my analysis of the historics is so poor but I do not have the information available to me that you have, my concerns I think are valid i) the major shareholding director has all but bailed out selling circa £2m of shares net after small purchases afterwards ii) does have significant debt with considerable repayments this year iii) on current earning is trading on a very high multiple iv) has some US exposure v) has even more building/constructio | lendmeafiver

08/5/2008 06:56 | you can cross what you like ..LOL! £1 | pizza3
08/5/2008 06:54 | johnxx99 You forgot to mention cash for increases in business in place for the next 5 yrs. Now if a T/O were on the cards (but it is not at the moment) this c/o hils would command a price of over £6 per share.!! With cash heavy housebuilders shutting up shop (stopping building houses)who knows they some might run the ruls over hils (average growth 30%) Fingers crossed. | barniebear
08/5/2008 02:27 | By the way, where is the reference to management bailing out taken from. Have you got the right company? If you are referring to director sales in October 2007, it strikes me as a very good move at the top of the market. Dont suppose you noticed the purchases shortly afterwards at a much lower price. But dont suppose you would being morons. | johnrxx99
08/5/2008 02:19 | Oh yes, and up 30% since February. Hope you're short, lol. | johnrxx99 |
