Thanks for that LLNeed to watch that video Carefully from 5 mins, 8 mins and 10 mins.Watch Price's glares towards a scared Mendell. And listen to Mendell's story of how the technology was first uncovered at a dinner table with his sad engineer friend.Ohh and the engineer friend works with them on the team. Price raised £650k...it was not his money...it's clearly stated. There are no institution investors in HNR currently.Mendell clearly has no posture and his tonality says it all.Price seems to be the confident bully..Make of the video what you will.Body language, facial expressions and Mendell's breathing says a lot

Obvious agenda from posters already on my filter list, pure poison designed to damage the company IMO. I hope HNR come out with successful drill results next week!

brewster 2 points.
1. Yasx has consistently been wrong on this stock since 18p when I was being condemned for knocking his ramping using false claims that testing had started.
He held on the drop down to 10p then sold on the first spike to 16p on the uranium news at which time he began making "interesting" posts on hnr most of which he has had to delete to save himself embarrassment.

2.Posting that you aren't going to make any more posts on hnr then carrying on posting immediately after isn't going to get your own word trusted either.

Hate to say this but something is not right here.If you get time do watch the Price and Mendell video that was aired just before the rise.Look at the body language and the glaring eyes of Price towards Mendell.Mendell could hardly speak let alone breathe well...Seems like we have been fed a whole load of porkies here by them 2.I am not de ramping but just telling you all to take the blinkers off and look into the historic data of this company....it just seems like the tests are not going according to plan.I will not write here again and I am not trying to upset any investor As always DYOR thoroughly and please ground yourselves of hype

@badgateway So you are suggesting that up until the last minute (don't forget trials have been scheduled for June for some months) Sclumberger thought there was no problem with water rights then they suddenly just before they were about to start they said "hold on a moment we might need some water for this frac - ooopps we don't have any!"

Sclumberger frac thousands of wells they don't just tip up to the site with a few trucks and say where's the tap lads, we better get on with it.

Yes they are they're behaving like a professional company that working within the borders of US regs including those of water rights and entitlements. They aren't however going to break any regs just to help hnr investors fend off people like yourself who have a financial need to slur the co. and what its doing.

@badgateway no it doesn't matter at all why I suspect but by that logic nor does it matter what you think!

If this tech was as promising as the bulls here state why on earth wouldn't Sclumberger be moving heaven on earth to get it into production ASAP. If the predicted cash flows are as juicy as they think they will be why allow them to slip away into the future for the sake of sorting out what looks like a pretty minor line item in a work schedule.

The simple fact is that Sclumberger are not behaving in a way consistent with them being eager to get DTU to market.

Doesn't really matter what you suspect though does it log? thats just you throwing mud because you're short as is your silly claims that Schlum "aren't bothered" or that the water issues in colorado aren't real.

Significantly, Friday was the first negative candle in a long while that was backed by heavy volume (in relative terms). Expect more downside...the first target being 38p.

Ummmm but this is just more diversion stuff isn't it? They don't need Calfrac or Great Western O&G or marketing managers. If the tech works and Schlumberger go with it they are off to the races. If it doesn't work then no amount of marketing by Mr. Mata will make any difference.

The fact of the matter is that Sclumberger don't seem to be that bothered about testing it. They've put it off at least once now and the latest excuse, negotiating water rights, is poor. If Sclumberger were chomping at the bit for the solution as the directors have been saying these sorts of delays would be solved very quickly.

I suspect Sclumberger have made a vague commitment to HNR to try it out when they get an opportunity to keep their options open while they continue to aggressively market, sell and fine tune their own refrac products.

@badgateway but it makes little sense.

a) HNR state that Domingo Mata has been hired "to lead our marketing campaign for DT Ultravert" but the company has time and time again told us the strategy is to allow Clafrac and Slumberger to market and sell DTU if it works and to collect a royalty of ~3% of the frac cost. Their entire business plan is predicated on this.

b) 9 years experience is not much. If indeed this technology is revolutionary and will change the way wells are refrac'd then you'd expect it to attract someone a lot more senior. One might expect that if this technology was so promsing then perhaps someone who had published research on refrac and diversion technologies might have been bought in and have PhD level qualifications. Looking at his job title on linked in and comparing it with Glassdoor it is likely he'd be earning around $120K/yr this is not a senior hire.

c) The industry and in particular completion of horizontal wells is massively in decline. Look at the drop in rig count that has gone on in the US. It is just as likely that he was facing being laid off as being very much in demand in my view although there is no way to know this.

d) Most of his experience has been in operating fractured wells and yet HNR are not operators at all. They hold 75% of an applied for patent on an untested technology that they are looking for partners to test on their behalf. Assuming Mr. Mata isn't doing a marketing job as they state (because he's no experience of that and they say they are going down the royalty route) then will he be using his previous skill sets as part of a team in well completion/fracing ? If so where is the team he is to be part of and why do they need this skill set when they are licensing the tech.

Or it was just the market reaction to a delay in testing rns given to holders already nervous over brexit fears, Bet some were just glad to have an excuse to sell at least short term.
Game on again once the market settles and traders realise the delay isn't down to hnr more likely bureaucracy and that the schlumberger guy thats joined far from being just 8-9 years out of college is actually a real expert with many contacts in the industry and a real catch for the company. Perhaps the biggest green flag the co.s had for a while.

I agree Bulgarian. It looks like the major holders and perma-bulls are starting to doubt the company a bit more now and take profits. It seems to me that they were convinced that trials would be starting in June as that's the line management have been giving for a while now. Obviously now that has been pushed back and may be pushed back again a lot of folk are selling up.

Looks like reality is catching up with the share price - it would appear that the latter has flown off into the ether on the back of a miniscule free float which has amplified the rise big time, as the herd jumped aboard.

Else why the retrace? Remember this was pushing 80p a couple of weeks ago.

That's not shorters - that's reality kicking in, or perhaps the exuberant selling out to newbies who don't see 80p value right now?

Is this the schlumberger man thats joined them? If so seems quite a "green flag" given his experience.
