Over the past week I have read so many articles talking about 'Melt-Ups' which is a good place to be, where the stock market can rise by as much as 50% in the next 6 to 18 months which are followed by market 'Melt-downs.' This is why currently I am holding HGM as I feel when the 'Melt-down' does come....gold and HGM will rise significantly.

Gold will never die- since humans existed people like shiny stuff that they can touch and own- crypto currently acts more like a stock, a highly, highly volatile stock at that- if I thought stock crash was on the cards, go gold all the way- I cannot think of a less safe haven than cryptos. Funnily enough though there's been a 25% swing in HGM in the last 5weeks, so these are highly volatile too lol- which is why we like them.

This play stacks up on several different levels. I see little downside unless technology destroys the value of gold and crypto is adopted by all governments...I think as a Gold play it's really exciting. Fingers crossed Putin doesn't do/say anything stupid. Hopefully he'll become less confrontational in his older age and more economically minded.

If you choose the cup and handle, it can rise from
the top of the cup 210p the depth ( 190p ) so

Over the past couple of years the American's have been saying how they'll knock the Russian Gas exports out of Europe by exporting LNG Gas by ships to Europe. The other day I read a report how the USA is so short of Gas that is has had to import LNG Gas shipments from Russia.

Back to Gold - most of the reports I have read this year the analysts say gold will reach between $1,400 and $1,500, with the lowest being $1,200 and the highest sensible prediction of $1,800.

At some point in the next couple of years in the opinion of many analysts there is going to be another recession and bear market which will be excellent for the price of gold and gold mining shares and is why I hold HGM.

I really like this play long term. Russia are going to have sanctions relieved cause US will put pressure on it to improve relations with the east, there will be a movement toward this which will be great for confidence in russian trade. Gold is a good play with uncertainty around all things including crypto and regulation and interest rates. I can foresee quite serious potential for growth here now. Looking at £2 now and see no reason why we can't aim higher over the next 2-3 years

Looking very strong now, as mentioned I am expecting a challenge
of 190p pretty soon, gold will start to rise and have a good
year. HGM profits will rise and so will the dividend in uncertain
times, dyor.

Edit: Gold looking good also.

Yes SR it should rise gold at 28, this is very high, only spiked this this level a few times over the past few years.
Here's hoping for sustainability at this level and higher!
Not heard any negative news on HGM either.

$1323 now $1328,I am expecting a challenge of $1350 very

Gold is up and down a shorters friend with good judgement but overall good- cey hit their targets annual and q on a down a bit but this still meant a good jump in percentage so hopefully soon hgm will equate. I keep scanning but cannot anything to the contrary so continue to hold.
