Well ,Steelywatch,if I was to ring the FCA,I'm sure they'd comeback with a similar reply but oh how convenient that a 40% + taker of stock in the placing is tardy in reporting their purchase but oh so swift in reporting its sale on the same day.My suspicion is that the placing wasn't as "successful" as one might think.Forgetting,Deutsche and director purchases for a moment, there's still well over 15% of new equity to account for from the placing.Who was that stock placed with? Are there any notifiable holders still lurking in the wings?I smell a rat.The fact is the brokers would have been wetting themselves with excitement if they'd placed 40% of the placing stock with Deutsche as a long term, supportive institution......and that would have leaked out if for no other reason than the company would have wanted it known! It would have been in all our interests including Deutsche's.

steeps - they may have known, but there is a regulatory framework for reporting. It seems DB were somewhat tardy in submitting and it is for the holder to notify the company in the first instance.

Yup, there is a game going on, we are in it, we don't know the rules we don't even know what game it is. Of more concern we don't even know which team we are on.
That rns was not an accident, the buying and selling wasn't an accident either, the not reporting for weeks was not an accident.
GS needs to give us some kind of statement.

The RNS released yesterday says the company was informed on the 15th Dec,the same day as they were informed that Deutsche had sold.Thing is,I find it hard to believe that 40% of a "successful" placing goes to Deutsche and this goes unreported for two and a half months.Someone thought it best to keep muppets like me in the dark, despite my eager anticipation of knowing the identity of our new found placees.Trust me,in the City, the success or otherwise of share placings are pretty much common knowledge and it would be remarkable if Herencia hadn't enquired as to the identity of this sizeable taker of stock.

So who is trading us today, it can take days sometimes to get the volume we kicked off with. Has the herd suddenly decided to jump in, I very much doubt it.
The DB rns might just be the beginning of a game not the result.
There is more to it than we bought a load then changed our mind.

Aye,n'er so dark as before the dawn.Graeme's superlatives about Picachos become ever more prosaic, bordering on the poetic.Yet,a few crudely put comments about probable sources of FINANCE might receive bigger applause.Ironic that we receive near weekly updates on Picachos but it took ten weeks to inform of Deutsche's little dabble. The lines are open then!

Look at Boom as an example good news this week & then this :
RNS Number : 1166A

Audioboom Group plc

("Audioboom" of the "Company")

Recent share price movement

Audioboom (AIM: BOOM), the digital social media platform, announces that the Company knows of no trading or operational reason to warrant the material change in the share price yesterday.

The Company provided a positive trading update to the market on 17 December following on from recent announcements regarding the monetisation of the aggregated audio ad network, further new content wins and a deal with Audible.

The Company continues to pursue its stated strategy for growth.

Rob Proctor, CEO of Audioboom, commented, "I was disappointed to see the fall in Audioboom's share price yesterday; recent announcements have shown the progress we continue to make as we turn Audioboom into a global media company.

"Following the successful launch of our iOS app which saw over 500,000 installs in just three weeks, the Company is greatly looking forward to rolling out its latest iOS app in January 2015 and our all new Android app in February, supported by an extensive online, offline, on air and outdoor marketing campaign throughout Q1."

I'm daring to wonder if that DB rns marked the bottom. I did sell some earlier to buy more LGO at the start of the week, that usually kickstarts any share into a run.
That is one big seller out.

Back to normal this morning......drill results. To be honest maybe we shouldn't be so negative about a stream of excellent results, what else would we want on the path to production.
The share fiasco of "now we have them now we don't" does demand an explanation. I doubt we will ever get one.

Steeple, to counter your comment 'Are we nearing the final curtain', we get

'The drilling at Picachos is exceeding all our expectations'.

and

'The opportunity to develop an open pit mining operation to exploit these large areas of copper mineralisation is now very clear, and our team in Chile have one goal in mind - to be mining copper ore within 12 months - and all for a very low capital outlay'

...Herencia Resources plc (AIM:HER), the Chile-focussed mineral exploration and development Company, is pleased to advise that following on from recent excellent laboratory assay results from drilling at its advanced Picachos Copper Project ("Picachos" or the "Project"), an exceptional intersection of 117m of plus 1.1% copper has been achieved.

Managing Director, Graeme Sloan, commented on these new results:

"This is truly an extraordinary result from diamond drill hole no. 3. It is the best result to date at Picachos and one of the better I have experienced in my career.

Looking at posts elsewhere, there is one simple explanation. Its possible that the placing was underwritten by Deutsche.I think it unlikely but it's possible. This would mean that some 40% of the recent placing wasn't placed but landed up with the underwriters ie Deutsche who have subsequently got rid of the stake.(To whom remains to be discovered). In such circumstances,of course,a statement that the issue had been"successfully" completed would be misleading but not unusual.I saw no reference to the placing being underwritten. This whole thing needs explanation though.Like most private investors I suspect, the amount of money I've got here is now hardly worth worrying about.Yet I find the fact that the company appears to be less than transparent a very real further irritation. Are we nearing the final curtain?
