08/12/2014 12:45 | I am also in two miners, one silver, one copper, which are fully funded, one is already a producer but creating a new additional mine, the other is resuming production after completion of major mining equipment upgrade, both are trading for loose change. Viz AGQ & WTI. That is the market! Irrespective of the market, what are HER's plans to become a producer? I then answered my own question. | leedskier
08/12/2014 12:42 | Good summation Smith99.What GS fails to recognise,is that no one has ever seriously doubted the potential of the Herencian projects. There very proximity to major Chilean producers always put the likes of Paguanta in the "probable" rather than the "possible"column.Yet neither institutional backing or finance has been readily forthcoming. If they can clobber Horizonte in this market, then Herencia has no chance.Look at the way that new producers like Patagonia are being hit, observe Ortac raising money at pitiful lows to confirm worst investor fears that these companies will milk private investors to the bitter end.Frankly I never saw it coming, that the junior explorers could pretty much mirror the junior tech crash which materialised in 2000/01 after the tech boom of the late twentieth century.Whist we all know that the key to good investment is an appreciation of cash flow, intermittently we choose to delude ourselves that this is just too exciting to miss with inevitable consequences. | steeplejack

08/12/2014 11:45 | This was in an RNS in June last year ... Project Timeline Based on the results of the Feasibility Study and previous work undertaken by the Company, the following timelines have been achieved or are being targeted: • Feasibility Study completed and announced to the market Achieved • Lodgement of Mine Permit Application (EIS) 2H 2013 • Underground Design Optimisation 3rdQtr2013 • Funding and Concentrate Off-take negotiations 2H2013 to 1H2014 • Ongoing Engineering/Infrastr • Permitting Approval (estimated) 2H2014 • JV & Board Approval for Mine Development (Investment decision) 2H2014 The above timetable is provisional, subject to Board/JV approvals, receipt of permits & achievement of project milestones. The Project schedule currently targets mine construction potentially commencing in the second half of 2014 with production commencing in 2015. Funding Options At the point that financing to develop the mine becomes necessary, there are a variety of funding options available to the company. Herencia will look at a mixture of these options, which could include: Silver Stream financing, negotiating an off-take agreement with a major partner, mezzanine finance, conventional debt or possible raising fresh equity from our shareholders. It should be noted that Herencia's share of the Project funding will only be required once approval of the Project EIS is received from the regulatory agencies. At this stage we are expecting approval during 2H2014. The Directors of Herencia will consider all of the funding options outlined above, in an effort to minimise dilution as we move toward project development. | leedskier

08/12/2014 09:20 | It's a case of the old W. Buffett sayings. The tide is going out very fast, on the CDN mkt small miners are drowning by the day. When it goes out we will be able to see, which companies have any clothes left. Her is in a bikini now, but will be able to run out of the water & get fully dressed, with a corking RNS like todays. This project is more & more viable for next year & the costs are not high for a miner, even the oil price is a help. All the ducks lining up here, one of the very few. Mkt not interested yet, just look at the speed of the water going down the plug hole. Hold on tight. | haydock |
