05/5/2006 14:04 | End of day rally again? Online buy limit just dropped to 100 and you can sell 10000 for 82.75 GT | goonertone
04/5/2006 16:03 | goonertone- EGM Monday. We may receive a trading update. Price rise could indicate 1) Pick up in trading? 2) Private equity interest? None of these? Cheers. Michael. | michaelmouse
04/5/2006 15:37 | Checked the online situation awhile back - no quote available to buy - 74.10p to sell. Was considering selling up to that point! In future I'll check online limits prior to trading as could hold a bit of a clue to immediate price action. | scumdog
04/5/2006 15:21 | Anyone any ideas? | goonertone
26/4/2006 16:05 | The only other possible explanation is that the MM's were holding shed loads. Unlikely. | jtcod
26/4/2006 15:45 | JTC, I see you're also struggling with the mysteries of where Gyllenhammar is getting his shares from - unless I've missed an RNS along the way that announcement yesterday is the first time any of the major shareholders have acknowledged a reduction in their holding. The only conclusion I have been able to reach is that someone somewhere has not been disclosing some selling. Or HET put up mickey mouse figures about Major Shareholders on their website. Otherwise we would be down to fewer than 5% of shares not held by major investors at this point. | bletherer
26/4/2006 15:12 | ms Seriously: HB is a seasoned pro. He's been investing since before we even had internet. I never gave charting the time of day until I came across HB. He is so spookily correct on so many occasions, I'm sure he's some sort of time-lord or market maker. Which is the same thing really, they have equal powers;-) | jtcod
26/4/2006 14:21 | miamisteve, seriously? | horneblower
26/4/2006 14:01 | Pimples and long pennant noses!!! Not surprised he never got back in touch with you. Next time if you want to get taken seriously try talking about oil reserves instead. | miamisteve
26/4/2006 09:51 | JT, Sorry, I was looking at EME instead of EEN. I met the CFO of Emerald in Jan when the price was about £2. I told him I thought the chart suggested a good rise as it had added the pimple to the long pennant nose that had formed over the previous two years. I think I told him to expect £3. He said he knew nothing of charting so I sent him his chart with my lines on. Got no reply. Looks more like £4 now and no, I haven't, unfortunately got any as I sold them at 280p on 28th Feb having bought them at 193p on 13/Jan. C'est la vie. | horneblower
26/4/2006 08:05 | Hopefully not so slow this time next month HB.;-) | jtcod
26/4/2006 07:54 | JT, Yes. My reading of EEN chart is they should at least reach their old highs again and maybe much better...but it is a slow process. | horneblower
26/4/2006 07:47 | O/T HB are you in EEN? | jtcod
26/4/2006 07:47 | In a way HB, it would have been nice to dip one last time for a top up. Though I may have had to reveal my ID.;-) | jtcod
26/4/2006 07:14 | I think that yesterday's move probably removes the likelihood of my predicted revisit to 60p. | horneblower
25/4/2006 17:50 | So that still leaves both sides of the 639,582 (3.53%) trade and the seller of 303,500 (1.67%) to me (if they were a notifyable holder that is). More RNS's tomorrow perhaps. | jtcod
25/4/2006 16:11 | JT I think you are breaking the laws of maths. GT PS PG and Fovatnings are one and the same and british steel pension fund is the chase nominees holding | goonertone

25/4/2006 15:07 | nick I think you'll find that they originally had 900,000 which would explain the sale of 250,000 yesterday. GT | goonertone
25/4/2006 14:59 | A new kid on the block. Makes a change from P.G. Chase Nominees A/C BSPFT 650,000 shares | nick
