Its a ramp based in Australia which in the current climate of fevered bulishness is perhaps ideal. Shares in Harvest Minerals (HMI) started August at c5p - they are 21p today. The word from a reliable source is that Beaufort Securities - appointed as joint broker last month - was trying to do a placing at 8p. But...The company has pulled that and is hoping to raise money at a higher level. As such the usual forward selling bandits in the spiv buy side community are now short and are buying back to close, hence today's surge. Don't forget to keep SMA on the watchlist CC, needs news but when it comes it moves fast.

The price has gone almost vertical this week. You see that little squiggle on the chart just below 10p? That's where I bought in. The amusing part of it is, it looks as if they held the train back for me to get on board lol!

Like others have said there is a big appetite for this one but when you look in to the company and it's management it's not hard to see why.

I think some will be lining up to throw money at HMI and I wouldn't blame them for taking some in the market at the moment to buy more projects and prove up more resource at the others.

cezary2 - when short term traders sell for the weekend the waiting value seekers hoover up. Liquidity is tight and someone wants the stock urgently. That is why the price is moving fast.

Does anyone know if the company is obliged to put out an rns stating any reason for the share price rise if Hmi hits a certain % rise in one session (currently 40%) rise .

miahkayser - Soon after I started looking at this in depth I said I couldn't believe the share price was still below 50p. You may be exuberant in the way you put it across but I agree this is well undervalued.
