Same here, "no security credentials", but they can't even be bothered to answer the phone, or put a message up on the website.

HL service was brilliant 4 or 5 years ago, but they've obviously been cost-cutting as they've grown. Whether it's during "busy markets", or doing transfers, or issues like today's, they're now no better than much cheaper brokers.

All one can say is that Hargreaves' business has gone from strength to strength over that time and that like so many digital and "platform" businesses around the world it has been a beneficiary of the great COVID-19-acceleration in consumer digital engagement. It is also worth noting that Hargreaves has a very strong balance sheet indeed as well as a highly profitable business.

i totally agree with what he says. each customer is a new risk free annuity. companies that grow profits predictably, and distribute most of its profits to shareholders are exceptionally rare. the pandemic has helpfully separated the wheat from the chaff, and HL has come out with flying colours.
