This seems to have caused the issue today... (at least it's all I could find!)

I nearly bought at 1370p... but held fire for under 1350, now recovered a bit.

Under £14 it might become a takeover target, but now that the divi has been paid there's a risk of Lansdown (or Hargreaves) offloading a few more.

The final & special went XD today, they total 38.6p and will be paid on 20 October.

The interim is included in the total but was paid last March. The final + special is ex-dividend today and amount to 50.5p which both will be paid on Oct 20th.

The dividends for today shown on the ADVFN schedule are wrong. The dividends xd today amount to 38.60 and not 62.50 as shown The special divi of 12.00 has been counted twice.

thread deserves a bump. tbf they've improved over the years, but they haven't improved enough, and they're still bloody expensive.

Can’t quite see Vanguard being interested, Charles Schwab perhaps. I would be buying around this level if I did not already have my quota, prepared to buy more sub £14. XD next Thursday, hope the shorters enjoy that.

At present I'd say a possible takeover bid from the likes of BlackRock or Vanguard is the most likely reason.

Has anyone with a HL Fund and Share account had a problem with HL removing the Nominated bank account,and stating You cannot nominate a bank account as you do not have any eligible accounts.When I have had the same nominated bank account with HL for 14 years ?
