NEW YORK, May 5  /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today
listed the common stock of Hyperdynamics Corporation under the ticker symbol
HDY.

Hyperdynamics is an integrated technology services provider focused in the oil
and gas industry. The Company's gas subsidiary, SCS Corporation, owns rights to
explore and produce large hydrocarbon reserves in West Africa.
