I can`t believe anyone would look upon this as a long term hold.
It was a money making machine for a few weeks, is all!.
If any investor thought otherwise, they are in the wrong game.

Stock Scam -

'Debbie' and her mates are said to be on to a real earner. Trouble is, it's a stock scam and is illegal.

The scam is said to be sweeping the United States. Here's how it works:

You come home after a hard day at the office and notice that the answer-machine is flashing. You push the button and hear 'Debbie' on the line who, having clearly dialled the wrong number, leaves a message for her friend 'Tracy'. Debbie's message says that a 'new company' is soon to make a 'big announcement' and that it's shares are to go through the roof - from 50 cents to $5 or $6. You immediately call your broker and buy.

Three companies have been mentioned in 'Debbie's' calls and the shares in each have shown impressive gains of late. US regulator The Securities and Exchange Commission has now launched an investigation into the share dealing in the three companies. The Commission has issued a warning which said, in part, that the calls 'likely are from someone who is being paid to leave messages on a whole lot of answering machines. The people behind the message probably own some of this stock......They stand to gain by selling their shares if the stock price rises because gullible investors buy. Once these fraudsters sell their shares and stop hyping the stock, the price typically falls and investors lose their money'.

As The Wall Street Journal says, this is 'a classic pump-and-dump scheme'. And it just goes to show, there's several born every minute.

When the placing completes there will be a shedload of stock around that has been purchased at the equivalent of 30p.

I wouldn't bank on this recovering too far before it starts to fall again. Too many people have been bitten on the way down and this tends to sour sentiment.
