Well you're wrong there pal. Not bought any shares here since the 4p placing a couple of years back - shares which I then sold for 5.4p. Thanks. Sold up on Christmas Eve.

But I do wonder about the averaging down loonies... are they ok?

Yeah inferno and all us guys who sold out know you as one of the loons or you wouldn't be here. I just called in after buying Thalassa Energy from my HMB proceeds .......

I wonder if the loons are still averaging down, or maybe their piggy banks are now empty.

Terrible stock in an awful sector.

Not as good as predicting 1.5p when the share price was near 2p. You're rubbish :-)

Exactly...

One day HMB will go up.....

Of course whether it last 5 minutes is another matter!

I can only assume you are invested here for fun. It can't be for the profits :-)

"One day HMB will go up...." Remember, acccording to your own rules a prediction is only worth mentioning if you can profit from it. Are you going to profit from HMB having an up day once in a blue moon? It's also not a very specific prediction unlike mine :-) I must just be better than you. Thanks :-)

ps is there any point to the predictions in post #1 according to the prediction rules? They don't seem to have had a good track record. 2013 prospective share price 3.8p? What do you think? Thanks :-) Actually, I don't care, you'll probably be wrong. Thanks :-)

Particularly if you're the kind of person who just loves to say:

"I told you so!"

For fun. Someone may predict the outcome of a football match they are watching. They don't need to compulsively gamble on that outcome to make their prediction any more valid.Same with shares. Nothing wrong with a correct prediction that was based on a bit of logic.

"So every post is pointless unless one profits from it?"

Not posts but predictions yes, why predict something but then ignore it?

So every post is pointless unless one profits from it? Interesting. This should be called the 99% pointless thread then given that is probably the percentage of holders nursing losses.Fyi i sold on Christmas eve. So yes i've done well from following my convictions. Glad you asked.

But did you profit from these predictions?

If not its as pointless as this post!

Its always rewarding to see one's predictions pan out. Especially when they oppose the majority. Another pleasing prediction was that made on Christmas eve. Namely that HMB was approaching a peak.

Like i said at closer to 2p, a 1.5p price would bring HMB in line with the fall seen by other miners.Well here we are

HMB volume reminder

Daily average for the last 5 years = 2.1m
2013 average = 620k

Small impatient Pi's depart leaving a trickle in share price or are we heading for a placing?

Better that they actually think about it rather than churning out junk like their predecessors.

Poster on LSE site e-mailed Company re lack of news and earlier today received the following response.
"We are working on a release and apologies for lateness. The new managers of the business - African Resources - have been getting to know the business better and hope we can release something soon."
