Small company, so sales and purchases affect the price more in short term: lots of gaps, that soon get filled. But, it's a good business, trading well, paying a nice covered dividend, and likely to continue moving up: particularly if Brexit makes some people have to look for cash quickly.

In 769 I said "inverted "head & shoulders" gives a 305-310 target short-term.
If 320 were then to break, the target becomes 360."
We may see some £3 - £3.20 sidewards movement, but if £3 holds charting says we are set up for £3.60 inside 4 months.

Good value indeed. A rising and substantial dividend, company growing earnings and customer base, low PEG, low PER, and good prospects going forward in a highly indebted population.

Thought forecast was eps 34.4p (basic) which is 11% growth, so Peg 0.7......looks decent value IMO.

Umm, last year's EPS was 30.94p so in line (32.1p) is an increase of 4%.

Well I was about to say something very similar. The forward PEG is a lot lower than one could expect for a company whos profits are rising, is paying (has consistently paid) a strong divi (now over 4.5%) and has divi cover closer to 3 than 2.

Was the market expecting a miss here? or is it simnply that it believes that regulatory governance will hamper the business?

I suppose that the forecast EPS was pretty large jump, so perhaps a "believe it when I see it" approach from the market? Certainly the business has developed some new angles in 2018 which when you look back could very easily NOT have delivered.

In summary then: Perhaps my explanation for the share price here is that most investors thought that the transistion in marketing and selling the new lines would not go accodingly to plan. Looks like it did to me.

Yeah - in line is a 24% increase in EPS - stellar result for something which is on a PER of 8.

So cheap.

Update, in line with expectations. Seemed somber update but EPS consensus estimate is 32.1p fy19 and 34.7p 2020.

I think HAT has given up on the the hassle of issuing IMS (since it is no longer compulsory).
