I think bringing in the new finance director from Wonga, is a clever strategic move, look at the recent PTEC surge on its financials acquisition. Online gamers are looking at financials. Also no one has mentioned Trumps history with physical gambling sites. Clearly Trump does not seem to have an issue with gambling. GVC us placing itself, strategically with financials and the USA. Dyor.imho.

Whatever your moral view Wonga is a legal and regulated business, and in any event the GVC new CFO was part of a turnround team and thus sorted Wonga out. Sounds like a strong candidate to me.

Whats really going on here is some big sellers, maybe profit taking or maybe a distressed fund selling to pay redemptions.

The rest of Slipperys spouting off is nonsence and it does not affect the gVC ongoing operations one jot. There is no investigation nor "report".

So in September, it is announced that Cooper, who has made the board aware of a desire to leave for "some time", will be stepping down in February ... Hardly seems like leaving in such a hurry to me?? Or was he meant to stay on for a year?
